Love the cigarettes in the cup on the dash😂
I've got a 31 plymouth and I'll never let it go

That's awesome. What an honour to drive a car like that.
Yeah Buddy!! That was a cool ride!!☺
Love historical stuff like that. Love to be out on the back roads with a car like that.
Yeah it was pretty cool to drive it!!☺
Super nice car. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks for watching Bud!!☺
A beautiful classic! My Dad owned a '29 Oakland back in the late 40's...drove it from New York to South Dakota, with no issues!
That is really cool, definitely don't see many of those. Thanks for giving us a look!
Yeah it was pretty cool to drive!! I've never really driven a true Antique like that before!!☺
Great video superb car enjoyed the tour as well
Thanks Bud!☺
Very cool tour!!!! Thank you!
Thanks Bud!!☺
BEAUTIFUL CAR AND GREAT VIDEO
What a piece of History. My Dad was born in 32. It is 2 years older than him!!!
Yeah Buddy!! It was pretty cool!!☺
My father had a 1930 Oakland that we used to cruise in. I was born in 1958 and I am also from New Jersey. I was checking to see if this was our car because it is the same color but the inspection sticker would have been late 1960's
awesome video too, I love history.
Thanks Bud!!☺
Cool car and neat history lesson. That bike rail must have been something to see back in the day.
Yeah it was alotta fun to drive!!☺
That was a great ride in a cool whip Brother, Thank you. Cheers The Dizz.
Yeah Buddy!! Now that was Cruisin'!!☺
What a awesome car. I use to live in Hammonton, and know that area well. Really enjoy your video!
Thanks Bud!! My Nephew Graduated Hammonton High about 7 years ago!!☺

happy new year. that is a cool car.
Happy New Year Bud!!☺
I wish I would have known about that factory when I took a visit down to the mount Holley area back in December lol
Those wood rims are neat.
Yeah Buddy!!☺
I've always loved to see wood rims on classic cars! They look awesome.
Ooooo beautiful car, and a straight eight too. I'll bet that's a smooth running engine/car.
I think he might have a V8 in there!! Oakland started using them in 1916!!☺
Well then, there's one I missed. I was thinking that Buick used straight eights, but didn't know that Oakland was connected with the Pontiac's of the era.
Do you know what size V8 it was ?
Oakland had the V8 for one year only in 1916, then discontinued until 1930. They both were flatheads, Chevrolet was the one with the OHV V8 in 1917-1919.
Now THAT'S a car....you know how I love prewar cars. Interesting place too. I've recently seen a small old building, that I've driven past for many years. Part of the airfield, but hidden in trees, and the road has been altered to cut out a bend. So the old road is a layby.
Yeah Buddy!! That was Cruisin' in style!!☺
Great car . Nice vid! Luv the accent
Thanks alot Bud!!☺
Nice ride there buddy!
Yeah Buddy!!☺
What a beautiful old car. Looks like a ghost village :) They must have had quite a community there at one point. Yeah, you can learn a lot about local history by doing YT videos. It seems to force you into looking at everyday places in new ways. Great setting for the car :)
Thanks for watching Mate!! It was fun to drive!!☺
Nice to see Roadking on a road trip! Never heard of that park or a bicycle railway but thanks for sharing that cool little historical gem. Your buddy's car is sweet too. Cant think of a better way to visit a place like that. Most guys idea of fun in their spare time is watching some crappy sports thing on tv. You guys do way cooler shit on your down time! Jim
Thanks alot Jim!! We appreciate you watching!!☺
I loved my 1929 Pontiac. It never let me down.
Very cool old car. Could you go back and video the engine for us?
Yeah Buddy!! Next time I go over we'll take a better look at it!!☺
happy new year RK
Happy New Year Mate!!☺
OH! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CAR!!! Believe it or not, Their were a Lot of Car Companies that used 8 Cylinders! Dodge being one of them!
Looks like the car the Anthill Mob drove LOl....sweet ride.
That's some steel there. Pity the fool that cuts him off.
finally, I can put a face to your voice.
We finally see the wizard behind the curtain! Ha!
If you had to be sixteen in order to drive legally in 1930, that same driver would be 103 today. Pretty interesting Roadking how well maintained that car is. Oh yeah, a base priced model was $895 in 1930, or just over $12.500 in today's dollars...not bad.
Yeah that was well cared for over the years!!☺
Much better condition than the one in Madrid I saw. Lol
Yeah Buddy!!☺
Yeah Buddy now that's a car. I'd love to have something like that one day.
Maybe some day Buddy!!☺
That's a cool place...I guess they ran machines from paddle wheels...Sure would like to see some of the old equipment but I'd recon it's all been moved..
That was a big place and I only seen a small portion of it, I'll have to check it out a little better next Spring!!☺
Like chasing Frank NItti on the Untouchables. Da da da dadada d da.
I thought the same thing when I seen the Thumbnail!! The only thing missing were a few Thugs or Feds with Tommy Guns standing on the Running boards!!☺
Man ! That John has no Shortage of beautifull stuff 😊
What the hell he's doing with Ol' Durante riding with him though I don't know !
Yeah Buddy!! He likes his Toys!!☺
I love old stuff cars bikes an even factory's 😃👍🏻
Yeah Buddy!!☺
*that old car is pretty slick. ought to see if he'd sell it to you later on. it would be even more awesome restored don't ya think? hey did you ever get any more done on that 57*?
Nah, We aren't gonna do anything to the 57 till we have a place to keep it!!☺
nice car, and i didn't know that john is blind.
dude, that thing is beyond clean! what a ride! btw, did you ever get your 300 HS?
Yeah Buddy!! We keep it in the Tacoma for an emergency back up camera!!☺
nice! i found another one for 50 bux on ebay! waiting on it now.. try it in 24fps sometime in manual. you can get some crazy shots!
Are You Doing Rd., King seeing this sold our Oakland reminds me I got some old what I believe are Oakland parts in the garage fenders and hood and even Arnold up buddy what do you think I can do with it? Make a rat rod?
If they are Oakland parts, I would sell them!! You could make a rat rod outta something else, there are plenty of Fords, Chevys and Dodges out there!!☺
Nice old car hope the heater works?
The first thing I asked him while we were driving was, "does this thing have a heater"!! He said "Yeah it's back in the garage on the shelf"!!☺
805ROADKING
Not good huh?
Awesome car! It's a shame the historic buildings are being neglected like that!
Thanks Bud!! Yeah, they did save alotta them but some of them were just too far gone!!☺
The tall-wheel bicycles were called "Penny-Farthings". The name comes from two British coins of the time.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny-farthing
Thanks for the info and link Bud!!☺
What's the heater like in a 30's car?
Pretty much the same as they are now!!☺
That's a cool car What's the top speed old bettie will do do you know?
I wouldn't think it would do much over 60, It was a 3 speed and it was geared pretty low!!☺
Nicest
Is it a diesel? Only joking ;-) Lovely old car!
Semper Fi
Yeah Buddy!!☺
I thought you might get the hand crank and show us how to hand crank the car.
Maybe next time we see him we'll give it a try!!☺
Honestly you werent driving that slow.. I wouldnt be worried that somebody is thinking im driving slow, considering what you were driving probably noone was mad
Alright Tubes...
That not the road King way hand start it kids with there starter motors am I right
That's a V8 Mate!! It does have a crank, but you'd drop your nuts on the ground trying to start it!!☺
I have a 1931 Ford Model A . The Oakland looks a lot like my model A!
Not even close
mmm simil NAHS 1930 special six
I can only imagine what the 1959 mechanic must have been thinking when he had to inspect this.
Wow, being a retired bricklayer that was something to see. Thanks. Very nice car.
Yeah that was fun to Drive!!☺
Love the idea of the bicycle railway. The Oakland is awesome.
Yeah it was pretty cool stuff!!☺
