Musima 1655 Thinline guitar - East Germany 1960s

Made in East Germany (GDR) some time between 1963 and 1973, this is a nice Musima 1655, completely restored. Non original tremolo arm, and the pickguard has disintegrated as is the case with so many of these. A nice example of the East German circuit which is so vastly different from Western pickup selector circuits.

haben die 1655er eigentlich alle die 40mm am ersten bund oder gibt es die auch mit 45mm wie die 1657? oder haben gar alle 1655er 45mm? ist ne coole gitarre, aber ich hätte die gerne mit einem hals wie an der 1657er

Zumindest mir ist noch kein früheres (pre-1974) Modell untergekommen, dass die volle 45 mm Nullbund-Breite aufweist, die die gesamte "25"er Serie hat (auch die Solidbodies).

@@theoldeuropeguitars sind das dann auch wirklich 40mm am Nullbund, oder variiert das? Meine Elgita aus mitte der 60er hat z.b. so um die 43mm
gut zu wissen, dass die ab 74 standartmäßig die 45mm haben. Hätte es vorher nicht gedacht, aber das ist scheinbar die perfekte Breite für meine Hände. War vorher eher ein Anhänger des frühen Ibanez Blazer Hales :D
