  • Learn How To Make Fish Pakora Recipe, a Quick & Easy Punjabi Style Fish Fry Recipe from Chef Neelam Bajwa only on Get Curried.
    Ingredients:-
    ½ kg meaty white fish (rawas, cod, hake)
    2 tbsp. Lemon Juice
    salt to taste
    1 tsp chilli pwder
    Garam Masala
    1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
    A pinch of tumeric
    1 tbsp chick pea flour
    1 tbsp corn flour
    1 fresh coriander
    1 grated fresh ginger
    1 Egg
    Method:-
    In a bowl mix the fish with lemon juice, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, carom seeds, coriander seeds, ginger and stirl it well.
    Now add corn flour, gram flour and egg to the mixture and mix it properly.
    Heat oil and deep fry the fish in it. Crispy Fish Pakoras are ready to eat!
    Serve hot with spicy green chutney!

    Hello. Do you have any recipes for cooking with onions seeds? All I can find is recipes with kalonji (black seeds) not onion seeds (pyaj ka bij). Thanks.

      Mohamed Ismail kalonji and onion seeds are the same and they are also known as nigella seeds

      As long as you are not heating the oil beyond its smoking point, you can strain it once it cools down and reuse it for 2-3 times. You should not re-use oil that is heated beyond its smoking point, because at that point the oil breaks down to produce some chemicals that are carcinogenic.

    Unfortunately you are wrong. Onions cannot be grown from Nigella (Kalonji) seeds and Nigella flowers cannot be grown from onion seeds. They even look different. You can buy them both from one shop as I did when I visited India. You need to brush up a bit as we all do from time to time. No big deal. Good luck and I look forward to more recipes from you.
