- T Mo Goodie of the legendary Goodie Mob and Dungeon Family stopped by Hot 107.9 to chop it up with B High about his new single Renegade. During the discussion T Mo talked about the iconic album Soul Food turning 20 years old this year. Tupac wanting to join Goodie Mob, hearing Tupac play "Hit Em Up" in studio before it was released, the death of Biggie Smalls , and much more.
T Mo humbleness is something worth respecting #legend
people don t know this one of the realiest dudes from the south
Indeed
Goodie Mob, Kast, UGK, Trick Daddy, 8 ball & MJG, Face Mobb, mane, the South has plenty of legends. I'm glad I lived in the 90's
I love this brothers personality and heart. He strikes me as a real sincere dude. Didn't listen to hip hop back in the day, I was straight rhythm & blues. Started listening to Goodie and was lifted up! The only rappers that I really listen to is Goodie & The Dungeon Family, Pac and Scarface.
as a huge pac fan that story was amazing thank you
Pac was stay in the ATL at that time too.
B High this was one of your best interviews right here...much respect to you for keeping the originators of this Atl hip hop relevant. Never let them forget...Keep doing what you doing folk. The real ATLiens appreciate ya
Rrrrradio Shawty!
Man These interviews make and East P. Nigga proud.
Yep
My second favorite group Goodie Mob. After Bone thugs. I was going through some shit in my life when that Soul food album came out and it got me through some rough time. I still bump Soul Food and Still Standing albums to this day.
Goodie mob was ahead of they time. I play that old goodie and still hear and learn something new every time I play the records gshit. I loved the music back then but I was young and had no clue about some of the stuff they was teaching us in the music but it all makes sense now that I'm older and wiser
Respect your perspective to the fullest.💯
That Soul Food album is sacred scripture.
The worth and dignity of a soul is measured by what it delights in! And delight/happiness is our highest desire.
Men have killed to have it. Kings have gone mad trying to find it. Wars have served it. Affairs have worshiped it. We all seek it.
Sadly, billions have died without discovering its secret... namely, that joy is not an it, but a He.
The Gospel is the good news that sinners can delight in a Holy God. It's the good news that all of our deepest desires are satisfied in the ONE who sent His Son to bring us to Him.
God is so valuable and so satisfying that the most loving thing he could do for us is to make Himself gloriously indispensable. He is the only being in the universe for whom self-exaltation is the highest virtue.
Therefore, God's commitment to be glorified and our goal to be satisfied are not at odds but come to simultaneous consumation in the worship of His Son... who took upon Himself the Wrath that God had towards us in our sinful disregard of Him. A wrath that could never be appeased through man-made religion.
Jesus didn't die to turn the world into a paradise, he died so that we could stop seeking paradise in the world...
Temporal things such as beauty, popularity, money, sex, racial identity, gender reassignment... can never truly satisfy. BECAUSE WE WERE MADE FOR SO MUCH MORE!
We were made to gaze intently into the Eternal Beauty of a majestic King, Father, and God... meet Jesus the Christ.
Life is hard, God is good, Glory is coming
God Bless!
B high gets soooo EXCITED, when he do these interviews....LOVE him tho...LMFAOOOOO!!!

ME AGAINST THE WORLD?
Thata a solid ass list!!
@warcloud wu FACTS👍
Being that I'm a 90's baby I had the advantage of having an old brother who introduced me to these artist who were dropping gems and truly revolutionizing not only the way we hear music, but the way we live. Through B High it's good to see the other side of these older artist and I can honestly say he has some of the best interviews I've seen. I hope B High continues to interview these groundbreaking artist and it's beautiful to hear their views. T Mo just told nothing but the utmost truth so many people say that they're ready to die, but that's not the case. Around me I have seen death and what it does to the people who have to live with the memories of the deceased and it's foolish. It's all well to want to provide for your family, but we have to work to do better. We must educate ourselves and be careful. Everyday should be a positive step forward to blessing not only yourself or others and not just in a monetary sense. We as humans are on this Earth, but what can you do for the betterment of your fellow man and society. Everyday if we were able to look out for not just ourselves, but others too our world would be a much better place. I'm not asking for a utopia or paradise, I'm just asking for a better tomorrow.
DailyLiving ppppppppplpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppplpp

One of the ppl who LITERALLY saved my life as a youngman walking into the world as a new adult.
Same age but spoke wisdom in a way you don't usually get growing up in the big city.
Salute from Phinix Blahk!!💯💪
So much luv for these guys
12:23 - "when i listen to this new music, straight up, it all sounds the same to me... EVERYTHANG... they all sound like the same person"
that's exactly how I feel about it. Rap nowadays sounds like crap, in the 90's rap used to be music, you could tell niggaz back then grew up listening to real music from the 80's, and the beats sounded like real music instead of this generic electronic bullshit we get nowadays that it all sounds the same. Same with the rhymes.
Right On!!
H2O_Atlanta yea yea that boo boo but imma 80s baby now the 90s oh my lamb fuck man i miss it but guess what 2018 and so on i still live in the 90s i don't give a fuck what nobody say
B-high realist interviewr ever

I definitely late seeing this but y'all my favorite rap group y'all and outkast and I raised my kids on Soul Food and Still Standing... y'all were for sure b4 your time and are surely still in heavy rotation over here💯😎

+urbanflavorz idk how to copy link but just type in good mobb tupac Studio, it should come up
Great talk to my df brother
This man is very, very wise. His perspective on rap beefs is awesome. Do you really want leave your family behind over some BS?
"And they don't even play [Kendrick Lamar] on the radio like that. They don't even give him that type of love on the radio. I wonder why..."
-T-Mo 13:29
