Nice job you've done. I just want to share my experience - I did the same thing only WITHOUT de-soldering the chip. I red the BIOS using CH341A programmer, and write the modified BIOS back. Worked fine.
Doesn't work on ASUS XE340XDA. I unsoldered the flash (winbond 25q128jvem), did a DUMP, changed 1 to 0, saved, recorded, turned on the laptop, went into recovery, restored Chrome OS from the flash drive, and when turned on, it registered again in the corporate network.
Nice job laboneinside, will this process work on AMD Processor chromebook, if YES, where can one get the chip reader and file needed to rewrite the chip. Kindly assist. Thank you

you can but you need the firmware saved to a USB, another machine with flashrom installed and a ch341a flasher pinned correctly... way more complicated than wifi but it IS possible

No, I don’t believe so since they’re going into the deep code of the Chromebook and removing it manually so I don’t think an update could fix this

UPD. Time to change SN, after this operation, your chromebook work as a new, another device, without Enterprise lock.
