For the those who have oven and want to avoid excess oil, a tip for browning onions.
Thinly slice the onions, mix the onions with 1 tbsp oil and pinch of salt.
Pre heat oven for 180 degrees
Place the onions on the baking tray and place on the higher rack on grill mode for 11 mins.
Check for the browning, and doneness and place in the lower rack for 5 more mins under grill mode. Constantly keep checking during these 5 mins to avoid burning. I have tried this and its the best method to avoid oil

Just now I tried this recipe. Only shajira and Patthar ke phool I don't have stock at my home. Remaining all ingredients I added as it is shown in the video and I got really good result. My husband also liked it. My one and half year old baby also ate with interest as it has a different taste.
