1. Losing jewelries is not a joke. Especially when you saved up for it. I almost lost my Swarovski earrings once and I was literally having a panic attack. The anxiety and panic you feel over things you work hard for is not something that shouldn't be joked about.
2. Regifting gifts honestly hurts. Especially when you gave it to someone you cherish and care for. It may seem like regifting is a better thing to do than wasting the gift away by not using it, but it will still offend the person. Might as well just tell the person you dont want any gifts next time so they dont waste their time and energy putting effort on showing their love for you.
