    These are the duo we should be supporting. Pushing real hip-hop, the middle men are cut out as much as possible leaving a pure and creative project by two of the greatest in my eye's to rap on a track and produce a track. PRhyme.

    I saw Royce live with Premo DJing in 2011. Great show even though they started over an hour late. Royce brought out Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Pharoahe Monch, Jean Grae and Talib Kweli too.

      @Bruce5747 Před 9 lety

      That would be something special. He only had Vishis when i see him, but it was still a sick show.

    • @toneriggz
      @toneriggz Před 9 lety

      Bruce Taylor
      Forgot to mention that Vishis was there too. Crooked couldn't be there because he was having back problems at that time. Jon Connor was also one of the opening acts and he brought out Freeway (State Property + Roc-A-Fella). I recorded a lot of footage from that show and uploaded it to my channel btw. It was definitely a dope show.

      triXXareN Damnit! So many features. I was really hopin' for a straight up Royce and Preem album. But 8 features? One or two at most would have been enough. This is a Prhyme and Friends album lol

    Godammit! I just want like an hour long interview with premo about what the fuck happened between him and guru, it can't be as simple as people make it out to be. They were gangstarr and then it seemed they stopped talking instantly one day. I'm intrigued.

    The reason why we dont see an emcee & a DJ working together is because there's no great DJs like DJ Premier (Produce/DJ/). Good Interview.

    • @triXXareN
      @triXXareN Před 9 lety

      It depends on what you define a DJ now a days. Literally every producer DJ's. Madlib DJ's a lot, but he is first a producer. He did a dope project with Freddie Gibbs. 9TH Wonder does a lot of DJ'ing, Alchemist was Eminem's DJ and so on.

    • @freedomandliberty93
      @freedomandliberty93 Před 9 lety

    DJ Preemo! One of the best DJ's of all time along with the many other legends/icons of hip hop from the 80s/90s. Today's music is simply garbage & everything has garbage robot beats & squeaky voiced artists.
    Today new artists are WACK! Stick to real "HIPHOP" & Vinyl

  • @SpazDillinger
    @SpazDillinger Před 9 lety

    I just listened to the whole album at work today, every single song. I was expecting the hardcore lines 59 always has. This album is very offensive to me, in a way that 59 has maybe gotten a big head with his stardom. It lacks 59's punches and wisdom that he used to spit, this album is more about 59 and no one else and in a very narcissistic way. Not much shout outs that he used to spit, not much metas, punches, or similies that he had. For Premiers side?...not as good as well. Don't get me wrong, I love Premier and 59, this album came across too rushed for me..not much planning in this album....

    • @valoruniversity
      @valoruniversity Před 9 lety

      actually I felt the other way. I felt with some of his lines he was a little more humbled, he talked about his trouble with his alcoholism, his failures and how he handled his success as well. Lyricists are actually more narcissistic in a way. For example Miss Jackson from OUtkast could be considered narcissistic in a way. I felt this was was different because they sampled from one artist; Adrain Young. That was unique. The only song that I didn't like was the song with Ab-Soul and Mac Miller. and yeah I didn't even know this album was out. Good opinion though Spaz.
