These are the duo we should be supporting. Pushing real hip-hop, the middle men are cut out as much as possible leaving a pure and creative project by two of the greatest in my eye's to rap on a track and produce a track. PRhyme.
Real talk
Most definite real hip hop should be supported, if you like that underground sound check out my channel much appreciated.
I saw Royce live with Premo DJing in 2011. Great show even though they started over an hour late. Royce brought out Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Pharoahe Monch, Jean Grae and Talib Kweli too.
That would be something special. He only had Vishis when i see him, but it was still a sick show.
Bruce Taylor
Forgot to mention that Vishis was there too. Crooked couldn't be there because he was having back problems at that time. Jon Connor was also one of the opening acts and he brought out Freeway (State Property + Roc-A-Fella). I recorded a lot of footage from that show and uploaded it to my channel btw. It was definitely a dope show.
Great interview again, you guys always ask the realest questions, that us hip-hop heads love hearing the answers to!
So excited to listen to this album. Premo is legendary & Royce is a genius so overlooked.
True Legends, Great vid
Yet again another great interview. Nick Huff !!!
royce reminds me a bit of guru maybe thats why he works so well with premo
Can't wait for this album. Nice interview
like those blu albums in the background ;) cant wait for this project!!
Dope shit Hardknock
Cant wait man, only heard 2 tracks so far, one is aight the other is fire, regardless Im buying this to support real hip hop.
Legends. My 2 faves in music today.
I wish Royce and Guru did a track together
Look up "what's real"
Thank you for not trashing "U Looz" Personally my fav track so far!!!
Dopeness squared - great interview & more importantly a great conversation
I love that Royce is getting some loooooooong overdue respect!

Simply inspired. Preem is like a brother to me. A brother I never met!
Dope!
I don't think that's Premo studio but i like it
some view, Royce 's face remind me to GURU
ONE PRHYME: DJ PRMIER,ROYCE da 5'9'' & TWO BAD MEETS EVIL: ROYCE da 5'9'' & EEEMMIINNEEMM!!! RRAAPPSS DAMN GOODD
I really want this album to have an em feature
id rather them find an old guru 16 then use that
The tracklist has been revealed, here are the features: ScHoolBoy Q, Mac Miller, Killer Mike, Common, Jay Electronica, Ab-Soul, Dwele and Slaughterhouse.
Goddamn ya Em stans are crazy. He dont gotta be on everything. Go buy his albums. This is a Royce And Preemo album.
triXXareN Damnit! So many features. I was really hopin' for a straight up Royce and Preem album. But 8 features? One or two at most would have been enough. This is a Prhyme and Friends album lol
lifestraight All the joints they have made music videoes to and the ones they have put out are the ones without a feature. The rest of the joints on the album got features.
The best DJ/MC combination since Jedi Mind Tricks.
Guru would of loved it
What's the opening track someone!?
real hip hop
Godammit! I just want like an hour long interview with premo about what the fuck happened between him and guru, it can't be as simple as people make it out to be. They were gangstarr and then it seemed they stopped talking instantly one day. I'm intrigued.
if you were really a fan of gangstarr then you'd of known that guru died..
+Deacon Frost
oh god smh. What about the period of 2004 to 2010 when him and primo didn't speak? That's clearly what I'm referring to. It was a big deal.....
Real Hip Hop shit .. Primo never sleeps coz sleep is fuckin cousin of death heh .. some Nas/Primo collab after this would be so dope
The reason why we dont see an emcee & a DJ working together is because there's no great DJs like DJ Premier (Produce/DJ/). Good Interview.
It depends on what you define a DJ now a days. Literally every producer DJ's. Madlib DJ's a lot, but he is first a producer. He did a dope project with Freddie Gibbs. 9TH Wonder does a lot of DJ'ing, Alchemist was Eminem's DJ and so on.
triXXareN Actual Madlib calls himself "Dj first, producer second, and rapper last."
freedomandliberty93 Well, I see him more as a producer than a DJ.
triXXareN As do I.
💯💡™
Next MC&DJ album is finna be lil Wayne & Paris Hilton, you may think I'm crazy but I bet it will happen.
"Finger on the poster." Somthing 2 ride to hahah
blogged here www.ok-tho.com/2014/11/dj-premier-royce-da-59-talk-new-album.html
Am I the only one who thinks royce is being very disrespectful for having his foot up on dj premier????
Logic & 6ix
Jarren & Kato
All three producer/emcee duos are so dope
DJ Preemo! One of the best DJ's of all time along with the many other legends/icons of hip hop from the 80s/90s. Today's music is simply garbage & everything has garbage robot beats & squeaky voiced artists.
Today new artists are WACK! Stick to real "HIPHOP" & Vinyl
I just listened to the whole album at work today, every single song. I was expecting the hardcore lines 59 always has. This album is very offensive to me, in a way that 59 has maybe gotten a big head with his stardom. It lacks 59's punches and wisdom that he used to spit, this album is more about 59 and no one else and in a very narcissistic way. Not much shout outs that he used to spit, not much metas, punches, or similies that he had. For Premiers side?...not as good as well. Don't get me wrong, I love Premier and 59, this album came across too rushed for me..not much planning in this album....
actually I felt the other way. I felt with some of his lines he was a little more humbled, he talked about his trouble with his alcoholism, his failures and how he handled his success as well. Lyricists are actually more narcissistic in a way. For example Miss Jackson from OUtkast could be considered narcissistic in a way. I felt this was was different because they sampled from one artist; Adrain Young. That was unique. The only song that I didn't like was the song with Ab-Soul and Mac Miller. and yeah I didn't even know this album was out. Good opinion though Spaz.
