This is the best version I've seen of him doing this song. His voice just sounds GORGEOUS. It rings out so rich and strong. The other versions I've seen and heard on CZcams start out with very staccato notes, and I did not like that, so I stopped them right away. This is much better. I share this one all over the place!
He is such a great singer, people that searched his name and watched the show interviews he's been on (fx Loose Women) will know his humour and witty soul. Thanks to John Barrowman for being what he is... :D

Everyone has their own way of interpreting a song. Just because John Barrowman doesn't perform it the way George Hearn's performs it doesn't mean he doesn't get the meaning of the song. This is one of my favorite performances by John Barrowman. I think he's done an amazing job.
This is very good, John does this very well. But anyone who truly loves this song needs to here Anthony Warlow's version. This song is on his 'Centre Stage' album. Anthony Warlow has an amazing tone, and beautiful expression, I give him 5 gold stars. Be sure to check him out, he is truly worth it, and I assure you, anyone who appriciates voices and music, will fall head over heels with Mr. Warlow.

Thanks for posting! Barrowman is amazing. He sings a great song, but George Hearn delivers far more powerful emotion and makes the song infinitely more profound. Barrowman will get there with age and maturity. Right now, Hearn is the best, so far as I'm concerned.

he has an amazing voice not only because of his range/technique, just the natural sound of his voice is perfect.
