Mă bucur că am văzut această emisiune. O munca foarte grea. Am copilărit în Petroșani iar vecini mei erau mineri, aveam și prietenii care au rămas fără părinți pentru că au murit în mine. Sunt niste oameni deosebiți și trebuie să-i apreciem. Noroc bun!

They could be doing with a long wall Sheerer and advancing roof shield's .
That was Standard Operating Procedure, I was an Electromechanical Engineer over there until the end of the nineties but unfortunately those mines are government owned and if you paid attention that area became for political reasons the bottom of the society. A Long Wall Shearer complete with advancing roof shields goes for 10 to 20 million dollars and they barely had money for salaries. That was the reason I left 25 years ago and what you see in this movie while beautiful and inspiring was the demise of the mining operations in that area because you can't compete with the pick and shovel in today's economy. Sad but true
