The members have outfits from different mvs and there are different props from different mvs . You recognise the ones from Spring day.
The bus is from their debut mv '' No more Dream" . The container behind RM is from "Run " and "I need you'' mv, V uniform and rose from "boy in love" , Suga outfit from "War of hormones " and piano is always associated with him . The angel statue next to Jin is from "Blood sweat and tears " ... there's so so many ... you will see them when you get to those music videos . Loved your reaction!

And the scène where they run and V imitated a plane is from "young forever"

The teaser and MV shows a desert, however, one can hear the sea in the background. The group had said that when ARMYs and BTS meet, the desert will turn into the ocean. The septet even has a track called Sea, a hidden song for ARMYs’ ears and hearts only.
This is a love song to ARMY. This song is about their musical journey, and they are shouting out their music videos in this. Many references.
The end part where they are all sitting in one bus together but at the same time they're all looking at different direction is in relation to how Namjoon used to describe BTS as a team and how they made it this far, still together after so long when other groups disband because they don't get along: he said that BTS always think that even though they are very different from each other and has different personalities (looking at different direction), they need to always remember that they are all riding the same one boat. They are all in this together no matter how different they are from each other. That's why you can hear the ocean waves even though they're at the bus in a desert.
the video scenes were a combination of all of their mvs. the bus scene is from 'no more dreams. it was a memory of the past for us to see.

All the subject you see in this video are related to their past music, the bus from no more dream, the statue from wings album and so on. The message is about their music careers, the names people gave to them "The best" that maybe to heavy for them as they just love creating music and do what they love, they never wanted to reach this big in there careers they just love what they do, the pressure they might be feeling for the fame that they have, they are still the young boys we know. For them they have not done the best as they still reaching for the best and that moment is yet to come.
I really love how your reactions to BTS are always insightful. Despite not knowing much about them, I'm really surprised that you almost always hit the spot when it comes to identifying their meanings/intent. Each shot is in reference to a song they sang... it is filled with references... so much in this mv. No, the uniform is from another video. This references many songs. Suga on orange piano is hindsight of his mv on his love... his piano! RM from Run or I need you, the train is also from another earlier video... You have to research. This covers tons of songs.... not just spring day.

they are at the desert while there is a sea sounds, is a symbolic meaning that they convey on their hidden track : SEA at love yourself album (it didnt have MV), that dessert is represent where they are coming from. An unknown small company and nobody at that time, and also represent as their struggle, pain n desperation. While Sea is represent their dream, a place they want to reach, their paradise that created through their blood sweat and tears. And perhaps, where is Army belong. So they are moves from dessert to the sea.
For MV, they added so many symbolic elements from their each previous MV, since debut until now. Such as, JK opening when he see through his finger, that gesture is same gesture from their older video "BTS prologue : on stage". A bus is represent their debut MV, "No More Dream" (at the opening on their debut MV, they are coming with bus), the carousel n train is from spring day, the container is from permission to dance, Suga's piano is from various of their older videos (MV and non MV) such as Danger, Wings short movie first love, love yourself highlight reels, and permission to dance. They sit down on chair at the dessert with white shirt kinda remind me with their older song "one more day" also at sone euphoria MV scene, they use same white clothes. The big giant statue is an abraxas statue that appear on their song blood, sweat and tears and so many more. V or Tae use suit is a throwback on their older photoshoot album, on HYYH part 2 era if i am not wrong. He using a blue suit at that photoshoot album. While Suga outfit when he sit at the piano, is his outfit from Danger. RM use jacket on butter MV etc each members using their older clothes from each era of BTS album or song
Here's all the references (in the order as you move through the mv) Every single shot is a reference to their past work! It's a homage and walk down the memory lane through their work but being hopeful for what's to come! :

- The shot of the truck is similar to the one from the BTS: on stage prologue

- Tae's outfit and rose is reminiscent of "Boy in Luv (he is wearing a uniform)

There are many references of their journey in the video. The rusty carousel from spring day, the chairs from just one day, the school bus from no more dream, the desk and rose from Boy in Luv, the large statue from Blood, Sweat & Tears and a lot more. Most importantly, the last scene of them on the bus is a direct recreation from an important scene in the “Spring Day” MV. That MV holds a very very deep meaning, it is about a very tragic incident and is a song that comforts many. The scene of them in the train and leaving it in the spring day MV was an especially important scene. This MV is very emotional for us, it contains a lot of their past and memories

#YetToCome is def the song that shows us, altho some of the past had been hard, they will become a memory that makes the present worth it. And making the past, happy memories. From their dark, gloomy and eeire past MVs, to very light and open scenes. It's a collection of all their past Mv, not just spring day, that they show the contrast in feelings. Nice references you noticed especially that of Spring Day & the accident and V wearing a uniform with a rose to represent the students and offering a flower to those who died in the tragedy.. other parts of the video are a lookback to their past music even the clothes they wore. May i add to that how the maknae line faces backwards looking back to the past, while the hyung line looks to the front, to the future to guide them. I think they are ending a chapter and starting a new one. It goes well with the Proof antology album. LOTS of referenses to many old songs and storyline in BU. The bus in the end are f.ex from their first MV.

Love your picking up connections to Spring Day but visual references actually are being made to many music videos and images specific across time to individual members. For instance, Suga on the piano bespeaks his track First Love, schoolboy uniforms were a theme and a fought over issue during the Too Kool for Skool era, JK making a "hand lens" refers to Prologue, the shipping container with RM is Run, and much more. However Spring Day references are numerous so it is good you are picking up on them. Just realize in a catalog of well over 300 songs you are still a newbie so a lot you simply won't recognize at this point like a hardcore ARMY might. P.S, I could be wrong but all the sand may be the sands of time.
