FLIES THAT CATCH FISH Tying Ultimate River Nymph

This fly accounts for so many fish it's scary. Although very basic in its makeup, the overall look and profile mean it's hard for any trout or grayling to resist!

This is one of my go to nymphs when fishing either under an indicator or an Elk Hair Caddis on the rivers. It rarely fails me. When people ask me what I'm catching on I just refer to it as the Steve Cullen Nymph.

I recently tied this and got my pb on it so tied it in a few diffirent colours and went out and got some heavier beads as well.

This is a killer fly, I use a #18 baetis nymph or a scud beneth this , great combo.
