The parrot is shouting I kill you, the reason Jennifer dies is because she kinda gets traumatized and gets a heart attack out of panic... or something like that.

Can i just say that "Dead End" is probably the best game over quote I've ever heard, only problem with this game over is that it barely punishes you for dieing especially since 80% of the time you have to force yourself to die.

Agreed. Other kills don’t feel like they impact you directly because they don’t seem to touch you like the knife stab just goes over your shoulder and everything else fades to black.
You expect her to find you and drag you out to shoot you, but you set yourself up as a sitting duck for her to kill you and you don't get to see the corpse, it's just 100% dead Jennifer huddled in a crate 😰

1. Parrots have talons. It was probably ripping into her scalp and she bled to death (even though they don't show blood in this game.) 2. Right at 8:34 Mary's knife slashes Jennifer's chest, but yeah, Mary stabbing behind her is weird. 3. Probably an honest mistake.

I know this comment is fucking old, but this game was released in Japan only. It's Nintendo of America who had strong censoring policies. Nintendo of Japan was more lenient about this kind of content. The reason why the game is in English in this video, is because it's fan translation patch.

That's not a death, that just means it's an unusable hiding spot since the parrot will direct him to where you are and he scares you from out the bed

It IS a survival horror, so of course she's weak. The point of a survival horror is that you escape using your wit, not brawn. It's scarier that way. ...But yeah, getting your ass whooped by a parrot is kinda sad.

If I remember correctly that's for unlocking the shed cage if you don't get knocked out by Ms. Mary and put in there yourself.

Did anyone else notice when Mary stabbed Jennifer in the death scene before the one on the ladder the knife didn't actually hit Jennifer but she died anyway. 3. YOU LEFT OUT THE SCENE WHERE THE PARROT GIVES YOU AWAY WHEN YOU HIDE UNDER THE BED!!!!!
1. I think you mean ending F. 2. I have gotten that ending. I meant that there's never any blood on the characters themselves. Ending F is the only instance of blood in the game, and the only purpose of that blood is to show that Jennifer was killed without the elevator doors opening. (The curtains seen in Anne's window death could be interpreted to have blood on them, but it could also be shadows.)
I found it so odd that there was no blood in the game at all until...well the elevator....it made happy, o_o, and even more confused
There's one death missing and it happens because of some kind of a bug. If you go to the secret room where you can access the room where Walter Simpson is for the first time, immediately go break the wall and when you come to the front layer of the game, Scissorman will jump out of the box. But since you're already on the way of his scissors, you'll get killed fall backwards and Scissorman will walk through you as if he's still after you. I discovered this by accident. 8O
I can imagine the players reaction on the player from the last one. "Ah come on, I was this close
At first I wasn't sure of what port this was on, but then I noticed how the arrow was moving and I took a closer listen to how the music went and I figured out this was on the SNES
And he's only 9, and he's the second biggest threat in gaming history (Penumbra's monsters taking 1st place. Atleast you can fight Bobby to an extend)

What are you playing this on!? I have always been a huge fan of the Clock Tower games but I've never got the chance to Play the First Fear. Can I get this for Playstation in English? This is like finding gold!!!
Skippy Streetpunk There is a translated rom hack for SNES. Apparently someone JUST did a hack of the Playstation version as well. (You can google either one.) I have played both versions, and I would say go with the SNES version. The Playstation version has a little intro FMV, plus a few extra scares and other bonuses, but the SNES version has better graphics (less dithering) and better sound (this was true of a lot of SNES->PS1 conversions, e.g. Final Fantasy IV though VI--holy crap, they sound bad on the Playstation). Plus the Playstation version is even slower than the already-slow SNES version.
Well specifically it is for the super Famicom in Japan which is why you never heard of it and like eyedunno said people have made translations for this game into English and as them as cartridges each one is kinda different

Mrawesome 590 Everything that happens within the mansion, like hand in the mirror, an angry parrot, pictures that bleed, all happen because it's being controlled by Dan Barrows (the giant baby monster in the cave under the mansion) using psychic powers. The parrot was being possessed by Dan, enhancing it's pecking. As for the hand in the mirror, (note: Dan's body is not his actual form. It was made of the flesh and blood from the people Bobby has killed) he can reproduce one at will
