I know that there is a number 10 clipper guard(which is 32 mm). Does anybody request this number on top? Instead of the number 10 on top is it better to request a scissors cut and ask the barber: "Leave 3 cm on top"? Are the results for such a short haircut better with clippers or scissors?
Scissors will leave a softer look, clippers tend to cut way more uniformly and it can result in more of that “I JUST got a haircut” look while with scissors the haircut can look a week old from day one. Some people prefer the fresh cut look, some people prefer the way their hair looks a week or two later, I find that if I do something with scissors it can look a week old when it leaves the chair.
Love how the hard lit photos came out
