- I visit "Thai Visa Pattaya" to speak with Agent Singh about the rules, requirements, and the process of obtaining a Non-Resident Retirement Visa, Family Visa, and other visa options. I ask common questions to find answers for you. Singh at Thai Visa Pattaya specializes in helping people like myself that wish to stay long-term in Thailand and require a Non-Resident visa. Dealing with Thailand Immigration by myself was a frustrating challenge. I'm thankful I finally searched and found Thai Visa Pattaya. The stress-free experience of knowing that everything will be taken care of as expected is well worth the money. As a bonus, I've learned many things about the immigration process from speaking with Singh.
Retiring in Thailand requires a Retirement Visa that must be renewed every year. Fortunately for retirees, the Retirement Visa is the easiest Non-Immigrant visa to get, with the least amount of work.
If you decide to marry a Thai or have a baby with a Thai and want to live in Thailand, you'll need the Family Visa, the next easiest Non-Immigrant visa to get.
A business Visa is the next most common visa for Non-immigrants. Extending your stay on a tourist visa or your visa-exempt status is also common. Thai Visa Pattaya can take care of any visa situation for those looking to live in Thailand or extend their 45-day stay to an additional 30 days.

I do retirement visa extension my self, it is 1900 thb a year...and 90 day reporting is free and can be done online.
Thanks for sharing info. I didn't know 90 day reporting could be done online.
Thanks Jake - Singh is so thorough and so knowledgeable. I plan to come to Thailand in September and will use his services for Retirement visa. Appreciate you sharing this with your viewers. 🎉

Your awesome
Thanks! 👊🏼
shop around for the visa agent...5000 for a new bank account is to much, having them check in every 90 days is a ripoff, you can do it online for free. how long have you been in Thailand?
I've been living here since 2021. I checked out other agents before finding Thai Visa Pattaya. I've had a good experience so far. Since I posted the video, it's also become easier to apply for visas online directly on the Thai embassy site while in the US.
I wanted you to show all numbers is THB also.
Oh, ok.
Hi, very informative interview thank you, however I have 2 queries.,
1st,. Is it true that you don't need to have the 800,000THB (400,000 THB for marriage visa) in a Thai bank account for two months, when applying for change of category where first they give 3 months, but it does need to be there for two months when applying there after for 12 months and subsequently for yearly extensions. Example: If come in on Visa Exempt 30 or 45 days couldn't have the THB in the Bank account for two months anyway!.
2nd.,. If someone comes in to Thailand on a tourist visa with the intention of changing to a retirement visa, will a one way ticket suffice ?.
Thanks again 🙏🍀🙏.
Good question. However, It's best if I don't say too much here. I purposely left that part out in the video because it's best to talk with Singh at Thai Visa Pattaya about that. There is a simple workaround. He makes the process incredibly easy. It pays to know a guy. 😉
Would you know Singh's address?
This video was extremely helpful.
Thanks so much

I recently recieved my pink card.
Is that otherwise known as the Family Visa?
The family visa is just a stamp in my passport. I’ve never seen a pink card. What does it say?
Cool 45 days is good I'm from UK. Can you extend that 45 days to 3 months
You can extend the 45 days to 30 days. Then you must leave the country and reenter for another 45 days and 30 day extension.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple thank you so much for the vital information I'm looking at booking flights soon for February all being well . Much appreciated brother
You're welcome. February is good month, not too many tourist, and it's before the March heat.
Can I extend my 'visa on arrival' together with my wife's visa? I mean I can stay longer than my wife because I'm Canadian citizen and my wife has a china passport. Is there any dependent visa for tourist?
Good question. I believe you can apply for the 30 day extension as soon as you arrive in Thailand and while you still have 15 days left on your "arrival visa". No, I don't believe there is a dependent visa for tourists. I think I am correct, but It's best to confirm this with Singh.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple Thank you.
You're welcome.
Hey there! Do these rates still apply?
Hello! I think the rates are the same, but it's best to contact Sing to verify. There have been some immigration updates that he could answer for you, too. I know the tourist exemption has changed from 45 days to 30 days. The extension is still 30 days.

Hello Jake.I am a us expat that lost everything in the us.Can I come to Thailand and do border runs every 45 days for the rest of my life?Is there a cheaper easier way?Do you know how to get low cost flights to thailand?Thank you for being a blessing to use all.
Hello William. You can enter twice per year with a tourist visa/visa exemption. 45 days with 30-day extensions, totaling 75 days/stay. 75 days, leave, and then reenter for another 75 days. I had a family visa that I could not renew last year because I was out of Thailand on a business trip. So I decided to give the tourist visa a try for the experience. After my first 75 days, I made a short trip to Vietnam for a week. When I returned, immigration questioned why I was returning. After 45 minutes, they let me back in but only approved me for 30 days which was strange. I'm sure Singh at Thai Visa Pattaya could have extended my stay once I was in Thailand but I had to fly back to the US to take care of some real estate business so I didn't try to extend.
Having a multi-entry retirement visa is the best way to go if you're 50 or older. I'm only 48, so I must get a family visa with multi-entry. I plan on getting the retirement visa once I qualify. It's cheaper and easier to renew.
Immigration is much easier to deal with when you have a family or retirement visa. If you're going to live in Thailand on tourist visas, you'll have to split your time between other countries like the Philippines and Cambodia. Both are a short and cheap flight away.
Before covid, I could easily find cheap flights to Thailand and other Asian countries. Now they are double the price but coming back down. I plan my flights around the cheapest days and times to fly since I have no set schedule. LAX is the cheapest airport to fly out of. I book flights Monday mornings and usually always fly on Tuesday or Wednesday. I found that it gets me the best flight prices.
Thank you Jake you are a tremendous blessing.I truly believe we reap what we sow.Good things are going to happen for you and I.I am 66 years old and hope to get a Thai retirement visa to live in the land of smiles again. At this time I'm seeking asylum in guatemala. All my realistate and assets were illegally extorted from me in the US.Our country has become so corrupt that it is difficult to experince justice but I love our constitution and I have faith there are still some good people working in out justice system. My debit card company is harassing me and the shut my card off. They are running me into the ground again. If I live I will try to get back to Thailand.Posdibly your friend at the Thai visa place can help me.Do you have contact info for him like email address?

What if you retire before 50 is there no visa
Does Singh have an office in Bangkok?
No, he only has one office in Pattaya.
To be honest I will stick to Thailand for month long vacations, but I will live in the UK. You are at the mercy of other people in Thailand and that puts you in a position of weakness. 🇬🇧
That's true. That's why I keep my assets and business in the US.
