I have a tip for anyone wanting to be a trader. Start as a structures trader and once you have enough money (probably from a combat character) buy a trader level kit from the galactic market. These are backpacks that a player has filled with literally all the resources and instructions on how to get from level 1-90. It just makes the process extremely quick and simple to have all the resources you need right there as well as the instructions on what to craft for what levels.
This was the best MMORPG ever! What a crafting system in combination with its galaxy market! And the professions... I miss it! And i miss you my good old friend dolphin ghost. And i hope you're pretty fine! Col.
I love what you said about AFK Entertainers. I appreciate an etiquette when it comes to that part of the game. For instance, I won't do business with an Entertainer who parks in the front entrance trying to intercept customers before they get into the cantina.
For any class in the New station, you go to. once you hit level 10 fly to the other station and fight your way to the last part where the spider looking things are and kill everything from there to the end before the boss at the end. you can farm Loot boxes and get nice items. Now if there are other people there it's not worth farming because of the slow spawn rate. you don't need a AOE attack either. I've AFK killed overnight and ended up with 8 loot boxes and loaded down in junk to sell to the vendor there. I kept a toon there for two weeks doing that and ended up getting over 100 loot boxes and 300k in credits from drops and selling everything that dropped lol Now be kind if people are questing and try not to afk kill quest npc
watching this while i wait for my account to be activated. always heard stories and seen videos of swg but never got to play it. now that i just recently found out about private servers i am eager to dive in and get a real sandbox star wars mmo. swtor feels more like a single player game with mmo elements and mmo combat (which isnt bad if you are a ranged caster but melee isnt as fun)
If this game would be converted to Unreal Engine...it would be just awesome. I played the original SWG at 2004 and it was the best MMORPG i ever played ! I never forgot the first shots i made with my Blaster. That sound and then the music. Absolutely blows my mind :D

Good question. He doesn't even mention doing quests, says he'll give you a ship. He didn't give me a ship, and the mission series are very crude and confusing. Find a bad guy hidden among miners? Where's the guide? Then dock with an Agent? Where's the Agent, can't find him? So crude in content and interface.
For Enterantiers at around level 50 go to Mustafar's bar and there is a quest from a lady there for doing a song and dance t gives XP and the song and dance it gives has a huge XP amount when doing them
You made a great intro to this game. One subject I would have added was the Beastmaster career. If you make a combat character use the level 90 gift, the mission terminals pay out approx 10,000 credits per mission. Not bad for ten minutes work. Do you get the BARC speeder after 10 days? I remember getting scammed my first day in game and selling my BARC for peanuts compared to what they were worth.
Pretty sure the tansari station title is unobtainable in current legends the enemy spy ship for one of the quest chains for the pilot missions is not spawning in at all anymore for me and for anyone else i dont believe

For graphics I use the ReShade mod - it's an option in the launcher. For UI setting if you go to options then controls there are some presets under the keybinds you can try - I believe one of them has wasd if it isn't that way by default.
You can always get a free spaceship in the Mos Eisley cantina. And aren't the weapons and the gear from the new player tutorial available on the ingame bazaar or in player vendors as well??
I recommend SWG: prophecy You can get the full game there currently only have 3000 players but it’s friendly you get everything meaning DLC wise, now note this is swg before it was shut down it’s not the old swg
Tip: when doing mission terms , do NPC kill ones and stay away from creatures. NPC ones you kill any NPCs around their base and then blow up the base. Creatures ones take forever. you kill the creatures around the nest and then when you attack the nest more creatures spawn a few times. Not worth it lol

I made a Wookiee. Are wookiees still limited to equipping Wookiee armor and clothing? In SWG Emu this gave them limited armor and slots and reduced the number of stat mods they could have. I want to make sure I can maximize my character.
I didn't have access to a decent enough computer to play this as a kid and then the game was shutdown before I had the chance to do so. I'm very interested in getting into this now but at the same time I'm worried that this emulator could come to an end too soon for any reason. Should I just dish out the cash for a copy from ebay and get started or should I save my money?
I know it’s been a year but idk maybe you still have this problem 😂 you can change it by pressing esc while your in the game to open the side bar. Then press options and go to interface. Here there will be a bunch of options to add another ability bar and a vertical bar up the side. You can also drag the tool bars across the screen to be where you want them to be. The game just takes place between the events after a new hope and before return of the jedi. Other than that your experience is player driven. I once ran a bounty hunter guild when the game was live. Kept membership small and teamed up to take down high reward bounties and helped people get their mandalorian armor sets.
Anyone knows why I can't board the Milenium Falcon after Han saves me in the start of the tutorial? After killing the storm troopers he tells me to get on board the ship but nothing works when I start climbing the stairs
Yes, loot the guards. Entering the Millenium Falcon starts a cut scene of it flying away. That requires PC software not used up until then. I know nothing about I.T. but that's my guess. Starrt by updating your drivers, then ask someone who knows.
There is a way you can almost get to level 20. Just after the starting station. Just close out the the window for quests when Turing them in instead of hitting compleat. When you land then hit compleat.
Same, had to fish around and figure out what it was. Turns out my IP address was at one point used for an account, and to prevent alts they require both you and the person who had the first account to take a picture together of all things. Still trying to get it figured out, but it's kinda hilarious and awful at the same time.
even pre-Cu had levels. they were just hidden from the player base. the CU just put numbers on people and NPCs to make it easier for new players to know what they can attack and what will kill them. SOE devs made it clear before the CU was released. Now the CU did messed up how combat and buffs worked sadly :( and the NGE killed the best professions in the game
Legends is just super boring. There was content near the closing of the original game that i kept hoping would be incorporated but never was so I just abandoned it.

A can see that but it's a cutthroat world and they're just trying to get an edge on people. I don't blame them too much for trying.
There's also one unique collection "Dust durnis" and a unique collection title "Hero of tansarii point station"

Do modern servers have a wide selection of speeders and mounts? I used to love the big slow speeder that held like 10 people. We called it the bus.

Found an error. There IS differences between races. Easily tested, for instance zebraks have more precision then trandoshans.
