For some reason each time I play motorsport (2024) my brain tricks me that I'm playing gt4. Just shows how bad the graphics are for a current gen game.
And then they'll expect you to pay 70 euros for this game

The fact that an almost 2 decades old game is more accurate than FM2023 shows not only that the 'built from the ground up' slogan couldn't be more untrue but also Turn 10 devs don't care about Forza anymore, they only care about how to charge for 70€ or idk how much in other currencies a 90% recycled game while having worse physics, graphics, optimization, structure and gameplay than any previous title. The fact that there are people defending this garbage is literally beyond me.
I agree. Even some car models are extremely outdated, in which they're 19 years old. They came from the very first Forza Motorsport in 2005, especially majority of the car engine sounds are so horrible. The people who made FM4 are different people in Turn 10, back when they have experience and cared about the franchise, and yeah, look what happened now... they got replaced by inexperienced people in the studio, and the new Motorsport became a big insult. I was looking forward to it honestly, but since it got a never-ending disaster since its release, I never wanted it anymore that I totally gave up on it. I would never defend for such a garbage game anymore, my friend.
Because of GT4 i was on the real Nordschleife in 2010 with a Audi A6. GT4 is 100% spot on with all the bumps and curbs, something Forza still can't get right.

Tbh, even if I always find that FM 2023 is a disaster, the older Forza Motorsports are just decent, even FM4 aged like fine wine like it's still golden unlike the most recent one. *I even addressed some car model issues & car sound issues in Forza's official forums along with some Forza players who are actually Car enthusiasts & racing gamers who loves to play good racing games, like me. That doesn't make me an Xbox fanboy or a PS fanboy. I am a racing gamer, and racing games is what means to me. Not other game genres those console folks are into, since I only have a PC and I never owned any of these two consoles.*
I emulated GT4 via PCSX2, it holds up pretty well. Hell, I even managed to compete in the game's Championships too, reached to the World Championship finale. It was good, but I also found out that it looks like it's what the PSP game is based on, since childhood days.😅
I'm honestly embarassed for Forza... an absolute failure of a game that wasn't worth the hype living up to it. We all know that. All of the lies from the devs and decieving advertising for this steaming shit heap, inaccurate and outdated cars and tracks, recycled garbage from decades ago and a buggy mess that comes along with it. I don't trust Forza to make another game again. The fact that this game got called "Racing game of the year" is beyond me and is an insult to all other racing games that destroy this sad excuse of a game without even trying. Every update is nothing new but rather an apology to the playerbase for all of the shit that should've been in the game at fucking launch! It's a joke and just unbelievable. What on earth were they doing for 6 god damn years creating this awful mess? I really do wonder.... all of the hype for this game too! It feels like they tried really hard for the first 3 years and then just gave up in the end and lazily slapped it together. I will admit tho, the game does have potential if they actually had devs that weren't lazy as fuck and actually gave a shit about their game and the fanbase
@@LEGEND-xi1jr People will definitely say that GT7 will get you covered if you’re sick and tired of Forza’s lack of efforts. Well at least tho, people are also getting sick of Forza Motorsport. There’s a time that *GT7 won Racing Game of the Year back in 2022* so *Polyphony Digital* still deserves it today unlike Forza Motorsport. I bet you will like GT7 because everything is actually *built from the ground up* since GT Sport in 2017, hence why the content there is so small at launch, and they’re all carried over to GT7 because *the rest of GT Sport’s assets are all up-to-date and they still hold up very well.* Gran Turismo devs care about quality over quantity, where all their car models are perfect & extremely accurate. Now, if we can remember, *Gran Turismo PS3 used to recycle all PS2 car models from GT4, hence why those games have 1000 cars. Then starting GT Sport, everything needs to be made from scratch/zero.* The cars appearing from PS1, PS2, and PS3 titles are all remodeled from scratch to fit GT7’s quality. So GT7 is 10x built from the ground up. I bet the only disadvantage of GT7 is that the entirety of the game needs internet to play it.
I understood your opinion on Forza Motorsport failing. I have the same feeling too. At least tho, I never bought it and I never bought an Xbox console. It felt like I’m free from falling into a trap that I would get scammed. Turn 10’s been living under the rock for 6 years, and that my friend, is how they insulted me just because honestly, I looked forward to Forza Motorsport not until it became disastrous since it released, and it’s never gonna end. There are some people who are lazy Forza fans & Xbox fanatics who will defend FM’s failures and trash GT7. They would also attack the shit out of me and tons of enthusiastic racing gamers if I or we spoke the truth of FM’s bad elements. I think these lazy people knew nothing about car culture. Within the months, Forza Motorsport barely got any fixes, but I still won’t reconsider to buy it. So I totally gave up on it that I gave a big “Fuck you 🖕🏻” to Turn 10 if they’ll never fix their major problems. AFAIK, they never do.
Maybe the next Forza Horizon might do better I think? since it’s made by Playground Games. But idk… maybe FM’s failure might affect it probably… It’s literally two different Forza games having different devs but same shared assets.
@@Rustic_3851 completely agree with you dude! Gran Turismo definitely went for presentation and qaulity over qauntity for sure. The leap in graphics from the ps1 to ps2 was absolutely mind blowing... it didn't matter that they could only fit 6 cars on the track for the first 4 games, they cared more about details and graphics than anything and that's pretty much it! GT has always had it better in the graphics department than Forza over all the games imo. Forza looks like plastic and has some very odd lighting resulting in some really ugly graphics when compared to GT i don't kbow why but Forza never feels consistent. One minute the game looks decent, next minute, dog shit.
@@Rustic_3851 i also stopped playing the horizon games after the 4th release. They changed it so much and made it so childish with everything they did different. Horizon 3 was the last good game. I've never played the 1st one but i've heard it's decent. Anyway i understand forza were tryna attract a younger crowd to the game but it's not even the same game anymore... its too childish and you forget its even a forza game when playing sometimes so hence why i never bought the fith one after it went downhill after 4.
Also surprised how many horizon games they actually made. Kinda thought they would stop at 4🤷♂️
@@LEGEND-xi1jr I did play FH4 and FH5 on my Steam. They’re both fine, but I’m grinding for new cars in FH5 till its end of the road. I get your opinion but its visuals aren’t bad as Motorsport’s washed out graphics, which is way more worse.
A few people would tell me to buy *Assetto Corsa*, despite it having tons of mods to increase the game’s experience. And there’s this one Early access vehicle simulator I played for 8 years, which is none other than *BeamNG.drive*. I bet these 2 games are the best for PC players so far.
People said stuff like Forza Motorsport’s visual downgrade felt like Watch_Dogs all over again, while I found out the fact that the numerous bugs & glitches made it feel like Cyberpunk all over again. It sounded funny when they backlashed FM for its terrible aspects. Meanwhile, GT7 used to have a terrible launch before, like Microtransactions and broken Rally physics. Now, people forget about Microtransactions and the Rally physics are fixed, GT7 saved themselves from trouble. When Forza Motorsport was announced, people said it was meant to beat GT7, but as soon as it released in Oct. 2023, the tables have turned that Forza destroyed themselves and GT7 wins the battle of Racing game wars.
The fact that Gran Turismo kept consistent in the attention to detail over the years compared to Forza (not fanboying, just observing), why would anyone defend Forza Motorsport at this stage

What ruined FM motorsport was the marketing itself. They promised too much realistic things in their games... but in the end it was all just empty talk.

I always thought the grittier graphics of GT4 looked in a way more realistic then all the other GT's with the paler tone of colors making it feel more like real life in a way. I deff love the style. It has the sort off rFactor vibe pc graphics. The candy @ss graphics of some sims make me nauseous. Forza's style of graphics after FM2 I could never fancy.
The cars specially has never look as Photorealistic as gt7, looks almost like real cars during gameplay

he also didnt set the aspect ratio to wide screen in game, gt4 has wide screen support for 16:9 but even then his point was that forza made the track flat, and even for a ps2 there is more uneven surfaces, and the curbs are curbs in gt4 and later, im surprised they have all of the text on the road in gt4

What ur looking at is a ps2 game next to the newest Xbox generation title. Ofc the xbox has more detailed graphics but compared to GT7 it doesn't stand a chance. Hardly being a fanboy😂😂 its just being honest.
@LEGEND-xi1jr being honest my ass forza has trucks with grills and you see smoke there's different sections of the track with different color lights that reflect off of the car there's fireworks there's a moving helicopter and way more but let's not talk about that
