- Join us for an epic recap of the Tobago Hill Climb Festival 2024, where we experienced three days of heart-pounding motorsport action!
Day 1: We kicked things off with scrutineering and vehicle checks in the car park. The excitement was palpable as we got up close with the cars and heard some insane anti-lag from the race beasts. Hillclimb racing is all about racing up steep, winding hills as fast as possible. Unlike other races, cars go one at a time, battling the clock and the challenging course. Tomorrow, we’ll be on the hill!
Day 2: The weather tried to dampen the fun with some rain, but that didn’t stop the action! Hillclimb is all about driver talent, not the weather. We explored the hill from different angles, showing you all the cool things you can do without a media pass. The drivers pushed their limits, and the atmosphere was electric!
Day 3: The final day brought us to the Dwight York Stadium car park, where the cars that survived the hill climb faced their last challenge-a simple course to prove they didn’t break down on the hill. We also witnessed a thrilling dexterity event where my brother raced and came out on top! And to top it all off, there was an epic drift show featuring top talent from Tobago and Trinidad.
