@@jjmacadamaut7930 I love all three of those and have recommended them many times, online and face to face. I have several PTX vids and songs in several playlists that a love even though I prefer the other 2 groups style a bit better. That's my own opinion and I have no problem with someone like PTX more than the others. I'm just in love with Austin. what can I say, he's just a darlin' with a cute smile and a wonderful voice I can listen to all day.

I love the tenors as I am a tenor and this is a beautiful rendition of the song. However, when the bass kicks in it really makes the song 10x better

I know it's terrible that I'm not looking up their names before saying this but the two guys surrounding the middle do not get enough credit on the sing off. Their voices are absolutely beautiful. Their tone together beats the large teams of people behind the other leads. Love this group.

Tim's voice has convinced me that my current speaker setup is an absolute piece of crap
My Logitech THX subwoofer is the only speaker I've heard that will even pick up the low E-flat in this song.
Doctor Octagonapus My various headphones are the only speakers capable of picking up the Eb1. My computer speaker systems suck ass.

The beat boxer is REALLY good.
The beatboxer and his brother, the baritone, are brothers and founded the group if I'm not mistaken.
He originally did sing. But at some point in their history, they decided they needed a beatboxer/vocal percussionist, and Adam volunteered. You can hear him sort-of sing if you find the "Guilty Pleasures" performances. He "sings" that Gangum song. I also highly recommend you find one of his solo performances.
Brendon Hoagland oh he can sing. He sung in Amazing Grace with Peter Hollens and How great thou art. He has a beautiful voice but they need the beatboxing more than his singing! And it sounds amazing! He is so talented!! I love Adam Rupp!!

GhostMARSHALL1 He goes lower in this than in Ring of Fire. Ring of Fire he went down to an F#1. This is an Eb1. The lowest I've ever heard is in his independent songs, and that was a C1.

Great musical artistry! I'm so glad I became aware of Home Free on "The Sing-Off". Their blend of vocal timbres is awesome; their arrangements are beautiful. (I love 'country music', but I know they can sing anything.) They are a unique group, will grow their fan base by millions just by being on the show, so even if they don't win (which I hope they do!), they are the only group that has caught my attention. Fantastic musicians (and, yes, I did read their bios and found out how multi-talented they all are)!

He started by playing the trumpet and studying it. He teaches classes about how to be a vocal percussionist... just fyi. It's on their website, in his profile.
becknorth you learn to beatbox by learning to double and triple tongue which if you know how to play a brass instrument it will help and can be easier to learn but if not then it can be picked up...

This year I've had slept more than usual because I keep getting sick...now I can't move around much because I somehow hurt my left foot and have to wear a boot when I am doing more than just hobbling to the bathroom or to get food. I literally need woken up when all this is over...I'll probably be sleeping off the flu or have another injury...I hope not though!!!
