Do you know how to choose the right mattress?
There are 5 types of mattresses.
#1 Innerspring Mattress
These mattresses are affordable and ensures good comfort, support along with bounciness. In this mattress, a thick wire is attached to connected springs that run around the periphery of the mattress. The strength of the mattress is directly proportional to the number of springs and the spring’s guage. The top layer is finished with foam and fibre for softness cum comfort. One disadvantage is that the mattress sags over a period of time and the metal springs become noisy while tossing or turning.
#2 Pocket coil Mattress
It is an expensive and sophisticated version of a spring mattress. In this mattress springs are not connected to each other but wrapped individually in a fabric casement. It has good bounciness and is not noisy like a spring mattress. However some coils are subjected to more pressure due to body weight and wears out faster.
#3 Memory Foam Mattress
Memory foam is also known as viscoelastic foam. The mattress contours as per the body shape and returns to its original shape once the weight is released. The mattress absorbs movement caused by the body. Good quality mattresses are resistant to mould, mildew and bacteria. These mattresses are very expensive and the mattress may overheat due to body heat and result in sweaty nights. However, a gel infused layer makes the mattress feel cooler.
#4 Latex foam Mattress
This mattress is made from natural or synthetic rubber. It is highly durable and also high in comfort. This mattress contours according to the body shape and it regains its shape due to its natural elasticity. It also absorbs any kind of movement or motion while sleeping. This is breathable unlike a memory foam mattress and reduces heat build up within the mattress.
#5 Hybrid Mattress
It has the bounciness of a pocket spring mattress and comfort of a memory foam mattress. A hybrid mattress has multiple layer of memory foam which ensures a comfortable sleeping posture. The pocket spring technology prevents motion transfer while tossing and turning.
#6 Rubberized Coir Mattress
It is a natural organic mattress which is manufactured by processing natural coconut coir fiber with a solution of latex. Rubberized coir allows good air circulation and is resistant to mould, mildew and bacteria. Additional, this mattress has a very firm base.

കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറേ വർഷങ്ങളായി നടുവേദന, കഴുത്ത്വേദനയാൽ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുന്നു. ഡിസ്ക് Prolaps ഉം bulging ഒക്കെയുണ്ട്. ഈ അവസ്ഥക്ക് ഏതു Matress ആണ് നല്ലതെന്ന് പറയാമൊ....
നടു വേദനക്ക് നല്ലതു body ക്ക്‌ full support തരുന്ന orthopedic mattress ആണ് . അതാണ് ഞാനുപയോഗിക്കുന്നെ . ഇപ്പോൾ എനിക്കു വേദന ഇല്ല . അതിന്റെ ഒരു unboxing video നേരത്തെ ചെയ്തത് post ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട് . പിന്നെ കഴുത്തു വേദനയ്ക്ക് സപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്ന പില്ലോ use ചെയുക . sleeping position എങ്ങനെ ആണെന്നറിയില്ല .അതിനെ പറ്റി ഒരു വീഡിയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട് .കാണുക .ഇനി ഒരുപാട് നേരം ഇരുന്നു ജോലി ചെയുക tv കാണുക ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഒരു 20 മിനിട്സ് കൂടുമ്പോൾ ഒന്ന് break എടുത്തു relax ചെയുക. ആരോഗ്യം കൂടുതൽ നല്ലതാവട്ടെ എന്ന് ആശംസിക്കുന്നു
note : ഞാൻ ഒരു doctor അല്ല .. ഒപ്പം ഇതു എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം മാത്രം ആണ് .
