- Hello and welcome!
First, let me apologize for the audio quality of this video. I've tried to improve it as much as possible, but some areas aren't the best.
June 30th marked two years with my bobber, so I wanted to take it out for a ride and show you some of the modifications I've made, as well as share how my life has changed.
I hope you enjoy the video. As always, please give it a like and subscribe if you're new here.
Take care,
Ray
28 years One day at a time! Cheers to you!
Stunning bike.
@@ossicalifornia thank you 🙌🏼
Such a cool bike! I got myself one in red, about a month ago and couldn't be happier. A lot of the mods you have are what I'd like to do to mine, so it's great to see them. Keep up the great work 👍
@@george5318 thank you George
Your bike is beautiful man. It sourns awesome too.
Thank you dude, I appreciate it 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Fabulous bike! Great job with the mods!
@@thesundayrides thank you Max 🙌🏼
Got the chrome edition and I love it
Such great bikes. I would recommend the hyperpro rear shock, made such a big improvement to the ride on mine.
@@pault880 thank you Paul, I’ll check them out 😂
Congrats on life style change and also on your two years anniversary with this beautiful bobber. I just got mine same gold line a few weeks ago and I am super excited. I uploaded one video from the dealer and I have a few more that I am editing now to put on my channel. She makes a great companion to my Triumph Scrambler 1200.
Also great job with channel and not giving a hoot what anyone else things. If it is fun and therapeutic... keep doing it!
@@FritzysGarage Thank you so much, that really means a lot.
Congrats on the new purchase, you won’t be disappointed 🙌🏼
I’ll have to check out your video.
Is a very Cool Bike..👍
Greeze from 🇨🇭 Thun from Patrick
Thank you Patrick 😁
Nice video, lovely bike. Thought you were coming to see Bill for a minute.
Cheers Paul, I would have but the footy was on and England needed all the support they could get 🤣
@@thebonniebiker I’m next door to Bill, he has talked a lot about your riding, different things you are doing reference bikes etc and it’s been interesting. I’ve been into bikes all my life and would love to do the same.
@@carter4067 bless him, he’s a gooden.
There’s no time like the present mate, maybe when I am going over to Bills I’ll come say Hi 👍🏼
Bought the Chrome edition last year. If you're looking for a new seat, have a look at Tom Hurley. He does some amazing work. I've got one of his gel filled seats fitted to mine. All the best mate.
@@davidcrilley2171 Cheers David, I actually had a Hurley seat on this before the current one.
Tom’s work is incredible and super comfy, I was gifted this current seat so sold my old one. Will probably end up going back to Tom 🤣
Enjoy the bobber mate, how do you find the Chrome tank to keep clean?
@@thebonniebiker The chrome is perfect, not touched it, the black on the rest of the tank shows every little scratch!!
Just done 1500 miles round The Picos in Spain on it, so she's not looking her best!!
Lots of cleaning to be done, and perhaps t-cut the black....
@@davidcrilley2171 oh no! A friend of mine has the chrome thruxton and it picked up every finger print 🤣
You took those beautiful matching fenders off?!?! Still beautiful.
Hard to choose between this with upgraded suspension or a speed twin 1200 with upgraded suspension. How easy is it to loose your feet in a corner?
🤣 as much as the matching fenders looked great, I wanted the tank to be the stand out piece. Saying that, I wonder what she'd look like with the shorter fenders sprayed 🤔
Ive only caught the pegs once on a roundabout but im not that much of a spirited rider. Speed twin would probably be more comfortable out the factory over potholes etc.
Im just marking my 1 year anniversary. Need another bike, but no chance getting rid of the bobber
The bobber is definitely a keeper!
Did you notice any improvement in the torque with the Zard slipons? When I’m riding I feel like the engine doesn’t really like going below 2500 rpm. In contrast my wife’s 2019 T120 has no problem dropping below 2000 rpm.
@@valhaygen It’s been so long I can’t remember what it was like before 🤣, however the bobbers have always been different with the gearing. I was thinking of changing up the sprocket to help with this.
It could be that the t120 is the “standard” engine and the bobber has the high torque engine why you feel the difference.
What seat would you all recommend? Still got the stock seat on mine, but it gets uncomfortable.
@@mikev3837 you can’t go wrong with Tom Hurley, build quality is exceptional
Did you perform a air injection removal or ecu tune on your exhaust set up? I have the same set up but have the baffles in.
@@po0chicles no I haven’t done any tuning.
I did notice a difference after it went in for a service though.
Hello from Canada the Bobber is a beautiful bike, I think I will buy myself one as a birthday gift next summer look forward to seeing more of your videos🤙🏼
@@blacksheepspaniard3978 Thank you so much! 😁
They have lots of new colours coming out next year 👍🏼
Are those the original headers? Zard makes headers to go along with the slipons. I’ve got a 2023 bobber and want to change the exhaust. Your videos really have me leaning towards Zard.
@@valhaygen Hi, yes they are stock headers with the zard slip ons and an x pipe.
Thanks for watching 😁
Would you recommend the bobber as a first bike? Asking for a friend…
@@christopotgieter4649 Hi Chris, a few friends of mine have had the bobber as a first bike so I can’t see why not. It’s really easy to ride and with the low seat height gives you a lot of confidence.
I was only riding one year when I got the bobber, had a Suzuki sv650 before.
If it rains do you get soaked with that rear fender? I've just removed my rear fender fully now looking for a solution where I dont have to have a full fender but also not get soaked.
@@AndrewJB yeah I still get wet 🙁
@@thebonniebiker ah FFS lol
@@AndrewJB 🤣😂 I think wunderkind do one mate. Mines more for show
