“Hoping to be flipping” is never what you want your best case scenario to be 😂😂😂
Getting 200bb in pre flop with 88 might not be GTO but I know it's in the bible somewhere. Something about a story about a guy who caught an abundance of fish. Let us feast.
When u thought he finally playing well he started punting again lmao
When you really only have 1 speed you Guna end up defaulting to it more times than not. Rampages default is piling money in the pot and rebuying until it works
@@vaxxeenmtg9733he can't stand to be shown a bluff. He can't just take the hand and move on, then look back later to find out why he was bluffed.
Why u think he make up that punter brand?? He is playing to punt. Hell go broke sooner or later
We wasn’t playing well he just ran good and made money. Big difference. He’s been a different player the last 6 months
@@brianfloyd2279 He really beat himself up over not winning that 5-way pot with Ace-high tho lmao. Mr. Introspective all of a sudden.
Cant wait for all the disciplined pre flop decisions and smart postflop lines from my favorite poker youtuber Rampage!
I used to watch him to learn how to play poker, now I just watch him to learn how to not play poker.
You play for play chips though don't you
This is the best rampage has played haha
@@paulmitchell6485how do you know tho?
Problem is you probably don't see all the losses.
The dude with 99 first hand must be in pain
I would just call it a night right there and then
9’s are a clear fold to a 4 bet
Its not a sport its gambling thats why the greats like Tony G won so much @@hedayatalefi4942
@@hedayatalefi4942 obviously but I'm just saying he must be in pain
@@youngodon1578 ...You'd sit down, see 0 flops, then leave?
The back and forth justification of "these guys are super loose and 3 bet light" to "everyone is really nitty" is just emotional poker. We all don't have to be Johnathan Little with the analytics, but play smarter and realize that 88 is not a 6k 3 bet
He is not a thinking player.
Stop telling him what to do what are u his mom or something? Let the man punt.
***4-bet
Actually it could be

Lol I've never seen somebody call so fast like that guy did in that $10k punt 😂
thanks for the consistent uploads! love the videos mate
Tbh i've seen the journey and been a big critic of Ethans plays.... But this Session he wasn't punting. He played alright and had a lot of good hands that just didnt run Well. Keep it up man here for it all🔥
Loving the upload consistency 🔥🔥🔥
8’s against Jacks. 4:1 underdog pre flop. After the predictable runouts, Ethan: “Unlucky here.”
He is not a thinking player.
Unlucky
@Paul-fe9ff If anything, he just overthinks himself to the decision he wants. He is still relatively new to poker, and I'd say most of us went thru this phase, and some of us never got out of it.
Best of luck Rampage.
He 3-bet so large. How could he ever have a strong hand?
@@jacobwatson7744 he hopes to bink the flop or over bet if checked to him on the flop ..
I don't blame you for the AK fold. It screamed queens. Other than the 88 punt (where they really only have 9s or better) seemed like good play.
Love your positivity and luck, you're like a movie character but it's real 👍
Back on the rampage train after this video! Glad to see the smart lay downs!
Bandwagon guy are ya.
Everyone wants to be Texas Dolly in Texas so more bluffs than usual happen down there! That last hand was a bit of a burn but if you don’t know how the guy plays a fold seems like the solid play…..that is if your names not Ethan!
Rampage! Love the content. Request: can you mention when you add-on to kinda gauge how the session is going (up / down)
Bit of advice to anyone reading this...When there's 5 callers and you have AK..its pretty much a given some players are calling with pocket pairs and the other players have Aces or Kings...making AK much weaker then you think it is
Yep, same thoughts exactly
I love the old Phil Hellmuth saying "AK and AQ are medium hands, overplayed by players" which if you think about it, its true
But but your blocking aa and kk says the person who is about to get stacked
this is so unbelievably ridiculous
I mean when theres a raise and 4 calls are you advocating just calling ak?? Surely we 3 bet and get through the first guy we should win a lot
Ram you are smashing this challenge!
keep going bro.. Gl next Time
You need to Hero call that Pawg behind you on the intro 😂😅
Really ...... pretty crass, you're on the wrong channel mate ......
@@81carrerasc How is he on the wrong channel if he just referenced something in THIS video lmao.
😂😂😂 GAWWWWDDD DAAAAAAAYYYMNNN SHE THICC
I agree
@@81carrerasc shut up
love your videos ethan!
Better bad folds than bad calls. Results may suck on that last hand but I think it will be better in the long run to find the fold more often as you have been
Keep Grinding Ethan and tighten up your play and you will get that million back.
You are still positive since you started this challenge. Keep your head up and stay focused.
Love ur content @rampage been watching for years keep it up and let me know if you do any tournaments with fans in ClubGG would be fun
great day now ethan! happy thusday!
❤️
Best poker I’ve seen you play in years good job🤙
Proud of you for that A10 fold 😂
Punt Daddy at it again
I’m seeing all these comments & I really hope everyone who says he’s not playing smart has won a bracelet. Pretty sure this guy started the journey out in the negatives and now he’s up 300k. Crazy how some of yall hate on him in the comments every video but still watch every video
A few months ago , he said he was down 1 million. So he is still in the negative for the year from poker.
czcams.com/video/o70IMb22uEE/video.html
Four betting with A5 suited and 88s is crazy when these people are already showing you the goods.
Yeah, I'm a Ethan fan, but he can slip back to his bad ways so easily ...... I honestly don't think he is in a good mind space at all for a pro poker player.
@@81carrerasc Fully agree. Really like him a lot. But he either needs a long break or a mental coach. Watching his decision making lately has been painful.
he is playing horribly ... i can no longer listen to his logic without cringing ....
Of course A,5 suited works well as a 4bet bluff. Nothing wrong with his play in this hand. 8,8 on the other hand was propably the most stupid play of the last vlogs. Would have been such an easy fold 😂
@lukasmerkel9644 It does work very well as a bluff, just not in this situation imo. When you're seeing guys continously 3 betting and when showdown comes they have premium hands, a 4 bet bluff doesn't seem like a good table read to me. Totally agree on the 88s.
Here's a suggestion, provide the link for when you first went up from 2-5 to 5-10 and/or when you started playing there at the shot take
All my old videos are documented on the channel. From $1/3 to now
@RampagePoker Yeah I know. I watched your vids from when you began. You got a ton of videos & time is precious & it's a drag. If you could provide even a date or time frame for when you made the jump, especially since you mentioned it in this vid, that would be helpful.
I now know why he’s called Rampage. It’s from the video game, where the goal is to get your world to crumble around you.
Any tips for a 1-2 month player?(I played when I was little and stuff)I'm pretty decent at micros. Idk when should I move up.
If you really want to be a consistent player and want to dedicate your time into Poker, try getting 40-80 buy-ins at profits per level, when you get that, you may level-up. Currently playing NL25 as I am trying to get into higher levels.
#1- NEVER play online at any stakes
#2 - never think that any strategies, luck, successes, etc will transfer toa a real cash game in a casino it will not.. you are delusional if yuo think otherwise
#3 - never play $1/1 or $1/2 unless buy-ins are greater than $250 as the rake will average more that your profits... it is a negative equity game
#4 - you can learn by reading quality poker books and seeking a solid poker mentor OR you can lose a lot of money constantly before you sort of wake up and realize you have no plan
#5 - momeny management is everything! Even pros like Eric Lindgrin, Chino Rheem, and Dwan busted losing all their nbankroll and skated on money owed to others
#6 - NEVER EVER loan money to any poker players anytime for any reason especially if they are friends
actually a really well played session.good starting hands just unlucky. can't win them all, but damn that hero call with AK was 🔥
I'm going to overplay 88 and HOPE its a flip so that essentially I'm putting all this money in for a 50/50 shot AT BEST...lol. Just play slots man
He’s less punty I can see the discipline, great video
Good Morning Young Man
Wasn't this live stream before the Road to 1m started. This live stream was over a month ago.
2:34 Those pocket nine flop a set and make a full house. Ouch. Great 4 bet to get them to fold.
Back to discipline dawg
Did you watch Daniel negreanu talk about being on winners tilt last year?
Hey rampage/anyone in chat I’ve been playing since I was 8 I’m now 17 gonna start playing in $1-2 $300 buy in cash games was wondering if there is any books you would recommend I read to expand my knowledge and gameplay?
It's funny. the 10:30 mark is the exact reason you DON"T float.
Excellent Style of play. Following you for a few years and love your under control presence. You’re a Great player and will always be my #1 Texas Hold Em! Tks
You Still Have A Lot to Learn Grasshoppa!😮
Now that’s the rampage we know and love
You are my poker idol. U teached me a lot, thank you! 😊I feel so exicited about new epizode road to 1 mil! 🎉🎉
Learn poker from literally anyone else lmao, he is just gambling trying to get lucky half of the time
Ignore the haters man keep doing your thing
❤️
9:22 - "aw man, that is a bad play by me" - the results of the hand don't change whether or not your decision making was correct. Bluffing with the ace of clubs here doesn't seem great, bluff your 98s and your baby clubs and that's enough. Nh imo!
How can you say unlucky when you called with pocket 8’s you blow my mind dude
Another entertaining vlog, thank you for leaving the table talk off, Taras always sounds drunk with unsolicited coments....lol, good luck Ethan on your journey to win your Mil!!!
Road to million down 😂😂😂😂
Bro I got an ad with Rampage Jackson talking about “his balls is hot” 😂
Dammit Ethan!! I was just about to go to bed and then I see you posted just mins ago! Goodbye, sleep :)
Back to watching the ads
There is no road to $1,000,000 but probably additional downhill for rampage.
Thank you
Rampage gonna be wondering why the F... is first 8 seconds most viewed😂
I really missed Sashimi very much. I love her.
Why you folding AK in the last hand? Wow
Playing lots of multi-way pots with hands you need to be isolating with
A Genius Learns from the Mistakes of Others!😮
Playing 200k cash game like its the final 3 tables at a tourney
Yo, Ethan. It's Tom from Springfield, from the cruise. Here's why you shove that AK on that last hand: the best he could have is trip jacks, which you could still run down with draws to the nut flush or the nut straight. But, you were correct to reason that he shouldn't be so aggressive with top set on such a disconnected board, so maybe trip 6s or 4s, still unlikely with the big bet. AJ? Maybe. But the biggest reason for you to shove is that he only has 25K, behind.
You’re a sexy bastard!
Great analyzing dude
I agree. He still has outs even VS AJ…..Opponent would not bet this much with sets…. The best he could have is AJ… but even AJ would not raise this much… should’ve shove it all in
Poker is so easy to play when you can see the cards😅 you are drawing almost dead against set and better cases you are flipping with your opponent (most of the bluff is coming from gutters), I don’t think it’s a shove AT ALL
Have you ever been in a position like this with a tight player playing for 4 figure pots? If not, you will fold too, easy game when you can see the cards especially if you are in a downswing like Rampage. He was down 1m a few months ago, that affects your play. As Phil Ivy once said; " If you are running good, you play good and if you run bad, you play bad. From my own experience, that is true.
@@keyboardmanyoutube3189 Even if you think the the opponent has AJ, he is drawing to a 3 outer and a runner, runner flush which makes shoving asinine. And even if you think he has a 3 or 8 , you would think he could have an ace too and you will be drawing thin also. I would had put him on a decent pocket pair and folded with him knowing that I bluff a lot. I call this wannabe youtube poker. Easy game when you can see the hole cards and have no money at stake. Everyone thinks they can win the WSOP if they have never played often and long to see the variance in this game and remember the times they lost big with stupid shoves.
This isn't a low buy in tourney, this is real money, and 38k is still a lot of money even for Rampage especially when he is still down 700k.
Wouldn’t you have won at 6:30 because it would have been a flush ace high that would beat his king high flush?
With his playing style, do You think he’s going to fold with nut flush draw? watch the video again. 😂
Please tell us where you see the Ace of hearts
Ramps! Run it bro
Master Punter 😅
Why does the tournament cash not count? A win is a win man.
Ot seems to me that when trying to build back you're way to loose, gambling instead of playing poker. Not picking your spots, just playing pretty chump... it's like you guys at the high level play like 1/3 chump change...pretty trippy.
No hate intended here. I honestly just don't understand how Rampage built his bankroll to play such high stakes. He mentions in the intro that he punted $10k "a couple years ago", and it took him "4 or 5 months" to get it back. How does one go from taking 4 or 5 months to get back $10k to having the bankroll for $50-100 and doing a $1M bankroll challenge two years later?
Well, he DID bink some pretty big tournaments...
He just started playing higher stakes. I started watchin when he was still playing 2/5 and now he plays livestream games and huge tournaments where he sells action. Not to mention his youtube channel is huge now so he has other sources of income to support his play in bigger games which in turn means more action packed videos.
Puntathon? I was once in a punters fantasy league, it was really fun.
I miss when Ethan used to play good poker. Now he just punts and hopes to win
he sure loves a5....
😅😂
When Ethan lost, a lot of keyboard warriors comment as if they are poker GOD condemning Ethan on this n that. ...i wonder if these hypocrites won a dime themselves in the long run.
All the haters playing $1/$2 here to criticize a player with 1000x their lifetime earnings. If it was a winning vlog, they are suddenly the biggest fans
Speak for yourself. Earnings mean nothing profits only do. Are you up thousands like me
The better in that first hand had 99. Flopped a set turned a boat 😬 only had 20k in his stack would have tripled up first hand
Stop 3 and 4 betting with bad hands... (ex: A + 5 of clubs, going all in with a pair of 8s)
We need a word counter for “here”
Gonna be brutally honest, as I would with a friend I care about. I'd take my money and run. You've lost more money in the last year than most people make in their lifetime. Take the money you've made, pay off your house and stick to abusing low-stakes fish for your poker fix. You could live comfortably. Maybe start a family. But true high stakes just ain't for you.
Lmfao telling a successful poker player who's won 2-3 million playing poker isn't for you is hilarious
Depends how much this channel makes him.
Then we won't have any content!
We got your back rampage!
WAY back lol
We do?!?! Tell us how mcuh you've bankrolled him lately in his poker endeavors there cupcake
Tighten Up my friend 😊.

These comments are wild. I haven’t seen one supportive one yet. These watchers are just praying on Ethan’s downfall… and I’m so here for it
You're not looking hard enough
@@VVeZoX why should I? Didn’t say there wasn’t any positive comments. I just said I haven’t seen any

I know you guys saw that lvl 10 GYAT 🗣️🔥‼️walk past in the beginning of the video…🙂↕️
I think this is an old stream
Dont know why, but Imagine playing Strip Poker with sashimi
Where’s the hero call
Ethan I think you do a really good job of trusting reads as the hands develop over multiple streets and you're calling vs folding. What you really lack is discipline punting when you're the aggressor, almost as if you just throw complete caution into the wind. That A5 and 88 hand you could have lost $6k vs $20k by just playing a little less aggro. Those types of hands determine winning vs losing years. You can't just bank on $450k pots to save your career. The goff CZcams space is very saturated so I'd really not like you to go broke lol
Wow. You're really falling off the ledge.
Wassup
i think that ace king vs 10 7 hand shows just how good Ethan really is
This is what happens when a tournament player thinks he can switch to cash games. Ask Neagranu lol
How many times will you play an A low card into multiple bets.
Fkn love this content ❤❤❤
nice

All in call with pocket 8?? That's how you burn money.
Why do you say "we get the X to call"... kinda looks silly especially when you're behind
