The hand in which Brandon has 4d-2d on a board of 9d-Td-Ks-6h-Qd, Brandon bets nearly pot on the river with a bet of 23k into a pot of 26k; Rampage has Ah-Jd and raises the river! I think it's a terrible play by Rampage. First off, there are tons of flush draws in Brandon's range. Secondly, with such a polarizing river bet size by Brandon, he is announcing he has a flush or a bluff. There is absolutely no reason for Rampage to raise. Just call Brandon's bet on the river, Rampage!

Don’t make excuses that you’re running into it. You play every single hand for stacks, and 3 barrel bluff every time. Your bets, especially over bets are so heavily weighted towards bluffs!! Sure the Queen 9 hand was a cooler, but that was the only pot you should’ve lost!! You didn’t realize that Adam had as much as he did because you don’t look! You just decide that now is the time to jam, and do it, without thinking through. I mean you’re getting jams called off by Ace 7 off!!! How does that even call? Drawing thin against every good pocket pair, every good ace. Barely ahead against all other hands. To make this Call, Raymond must think you’re bluffing 80%+ of the time! Be more aware about what’s going on at the table.

the losses are only mind blowing if you play this far above your bank roll. Give then that he said this loss represents a significant portion of his net worth, I can probably say that him and i have a similar net worth, give or take 20%. I still find it hard to lose $1000 in a night. Why is this man literally losing more than the house he lives in? I understand everything he said about playing bad, about learning from it, about running bad or what not. Happens to everyone. Nobody plays optimally even half the time, but thats where bankroll management comes in. I play 1/3, i can have 10 straight bad sessions and still continue playing. I get that he is doing it for views and content, but at some point, hes gotta think about himself and what his viewers want.

I agree with ur sentiments; Brad has experienced the ups and downs earlier in his career, but he also put in tons of studying to get better and grinded more at the medium stakes, then only takes a few shots every now and then at the nose bleeds. Here is one thing that shows the disparity between Brad and Rampage; Rampage is constantly being invited to the bigger games because he is such an active player whereas we don't see Brad in these games as often. Maybe it's Brad's personal choice to deny the invite, I ain't sure on that, but Brad definitely plays more within his means as far as stakes and table selection.

Ethan has zero poker feel. The truth is he hasnt played anywhere near enough to have the right feel for the game. Its like he also has no understanding of game flow at all as well. Especially with the stakes and players hes playing with. This was on true display in this session.
Example 1. AJ Hand vs Brandon Steven. Brandon is one of the top nits in all of high stakes poker. If im playing these stakes i would know my opponents and would have known this info. So now your on the river and Brandon leads basically pot 1/3 of his stack on the river. There is not a single thing to do here besides call. I mean really you can probably find a fold sometimes but whatever. Raising is never ever correct. Whats the point? Lets forget that your opponent in super nit stevens. Nobody is calling your raise with a jack. They are always calling with a flush (even though they shouldnt because who the fuck would bluff here), and folding everything you have beat. There is no extra value in shoving this hand. But you showed you are just a button masher, not playing the players or the moment at all.
Example 2. T9 hand vs Charles. This one is simple. If your trying to bluff Charles ever then you have no clue whats going on. Charles hasnt folded in a year. The guy is a huge whale. And if you have played poker for some time you would know that you dont bluff whales.
Example 4. Q9 vs pepe . This is like example 1, what is the point of raising this river? You didnt mention once that you were trying to get him to fold a chop. So then what is the fuckin point because hes never calling worse. So what is your goal here? Zero feel, zero. I believe Rampage was so high off the flop and maybe being able to get a bunch of money back that hes really not paying attention to the board runout and got his brain stuck on the flop. Im not saying he doesnt see any 9 makes a straight, im just saying he is playing like an amateur when it comes to board runouts and opponents calling ranges.
Example 3. The offstream hand where it came TT8cc. They are three handed. The other players know Rampage is stuck 500k, they clearly know he aint folding shit. So nobody ever is bluffing him. But ok he calls the check raise. The turn gives him the easiest out ever now theres zero bluffs but tilted, lack of experience, no feel and he makes the awful call.
I never comment on videos but this one just really hit me and i felt i needed to comment. This is not just a downswing. This is a combination of a lack of poker experience, awful bankroll management, playing in games you clearly shouldnt be, no feel for the game or the flow of a live table and not playing your opponents just playing the cards. Maybe he learns from this but the only way he will learn is if he acknowledges that hes way to inexperienced to be playing the games he plays and the stakes hes playing. He needs to realize he didnt get to those stakes from playing winning poker and grinding for years, hes only there because of this youtube platform and all the income from stuff outside poker like signing people up for wpt global. End rant

It seems just slight adjustment in these big games. They are beginning to call you a little lighter in some spots you used to get folds so you will have to slightly decrease bluff frequency, to where it doesn't seem noticeable. Pick the over bet bluff spots in smaller pots for instance. Pot is $10K and you bet $15K, even if you get called it's maintaining reputation that you will over bet pots so that when you do have the goods and over bet the calling light strategy for them will backfire as you start raking again. Tough night/stakes to keep running in to it. Hang in there and who knows maybe my suggestion is terrible but just another option to consider as you strategize moving forward.
