    fasting target of 60-95 would cause lots of hypos and increases risk of cardiovascular deaths, dementia and all cause mortality. Better to target fasting sugars around 100-130 . Lessons to be learnt from ACCORD AND ADVANCE TRIALS

    I'M diabetic juvenile for 45Yrs on insulin maintain well with Hum insulin R 10units 18 units 30.70 well maintained
    From past 1Yr I am not maintaining maintaining well HbA1c is8.3 fasting is above 130
    Iam taking 10 units 30.70 Huminsulin Kindly advice how to maintain Thanking you

    The title is.quiet misleading. I hear no discussion on titration even at the 50% mark.
