Fun fact. You don't get a mission failure if you don't extract. The only thing that matters is that you do the primary objectives. If you do them and then don't extract you will get the mission promp glorious sacrifice and still counts as a victory

@@ChronoMune that’s hard to dive when you play on harder difficulty and several grandes are thrown at you at once you can only dive away from so many before you explode

been playing it for 2 weeks daily but now i kinda dont feel the addiction anymore. Got a lil bit stale. One or Two mission in a week is it for me
For me it's not the Bile Titan that causes panic. It's the swarms of hunters. Hopping about like psychotic fleas.
Hate them so much, but my New Scout armor seems to solve the issue, can outrun everything it seems XD

Exactly. It was the raptors that I hated to fight, not a T-Rex.
I dont even mind bile titans. Once you get the railgun its one of the easiest enemies to kill. 2 headshots while in unsafe mode near the end of the charge kills it. You can even wait til it stops and is about to attack. The railgun shot will stun its attack. The hunters are annoying but impact grenades are amazing against them. Its the chargers and the “spitters” i call them that give me the most trouble. Chargers are for some reason more tanky than the titans and there are always like 2-3 chasing you in higher difficulties. Then while trying to dodge them you have acid being launched at you from across the map and up close. Makes it really tough. Really fun game though and i like how it seems the light armor is better against bugs but the heavier armor and longer range weapons might be better against the robots. Havent played enough against the bots yet though to know for sure. Went from doing level 9s with bugs no problem to getting destroyed against the bots in level 5-6 🤣. Cant just run around like im used to when they have mortars guns and giant cannons.
@@eYeCeD7just be careful when using other armour cause pretty sure atm the “armour rating” stat is bugged and only provides light armour protection, despite having the reduced stamina and such from the medium or heavy

When i see Bile Titan, i just move back while deploying mortar first to wake him up...then when titan rushes towards mortar i deploy rocket launcher armament with a smile on my face because i know at that point that titan fckd up and he goes to sleep. 😂

Note, failing to extract isn't mission failure. As long as you complete the main objective, democracy has prevailed! (And you get a mission success screen, you only get some exp bonuses for extracting)
Either that or you hear "LZ is too hot! We are moving to secondary! Touchdown in 45 seconds!" as a new marker is placed on the map.

@@jacobgay4032as many hours as I’ve put in that game and as much as I love it, I feel like Helldivers has more depth in the lore and smoother gameplay mechanics. Put in 120 hours in Deep Rock in my lifetime and it only took me a week to hit 70 hours on Helldivers
I believe with the next big update with vehicles & mechs will make the game even more interesting as the first installation had mechs. I’m very interested in how that goes

We went from cinematic narration to “The discord erupts” in a matter of seconds.😂
I will never forget my first encounter with a bile titan.
It came towards us, triumphing the cliffs that so easily blocked our way, charging towards us. As I gazed up upon it in awe, it wasted no such time, and melted me to a smoking pile of acid.
A stroke of genius appears in my mind. "Guys! Call my reinforce on him!! I'll crush him with my hellpod!"
Shade, my friend says that it could work, scrambling the reinforce combination as he's being chased, before throwing it at the massive behemoth.
As I ascended down from the sky I loooked around for the titan, having difficulty distinguishing it between the rocks and cliffsides. Until one of them moves. I steer towards it and hold my breath....
With a thunderous crash my hellpod sqiushes the bile titan as if it was made of sand, and my character ascends from his pod. The voice chat is going crazy and I am awarded with the achivof killing my first ever bile titan, and in such a heroic manner.
Amazing moment, all around!
It's gonna be hilarious. The boys and I spent hours screwing with each other in the first game.

A good way I’ve dealt with titans is to deploy the precision orbital strike and remain underneath it until the last second, it’ll try to stomp on you but can’t move too much otherwise. Usually guarantees the kill and you look like a badass crawling out from underneath its corpse.
Especially if you're wearing the armor that gives you a 50% chance to survival a fatal hit
Pulled off three suicide missions last night with my boys. During the last mission, two bile titans attacked our extraction which was still 3 mins away. Thankfully, we were all running orbital lasers/railguns and we made short work of them. Getting those ultra rare samples is no joke. Also, for those who haven't made it to this difficulty yet, the spewers have a surprise attack in store for you. You'll end up wishing they were just rushing and trying to vomit on you.
As in the great words of Liberty Prime.

even if you dont make it to extraction as long as the mission is complete you will be rewarded. sometimes we have to sacrifice for democracy and the super earth but you will be remembered as heroes helldivers!

NGL I fear the Heavys more than the Bule Titans, its too fast to reload for any time necessary, its hard to hit with stratagems without dieing as well. Makes me scream like a little girl upon dieing to the group of 4 that spawned in an breach.

Me and my friends fought a bile titan for the first time they where hyping it up so much then I two shot it with a rocket it was funny
Edit: after playing more on one of are missions we got swarmed by 8 bile titans at extract and died I am level 14 they are level 26 my one job is to shoot explosives and survive to reinforce we could not kill 8 but we took a bunch down with us
Imagine this: you’ve destroyed the nests, you’re timed out, partner dead, and you have the super samples. The horde is creeping towards you as you kite along the outcrop. Suddenly, the comma light up, “Landing zone in sight making out approach.” You leap to action taking out the fast ones so you can arc your way around to the rear of the Pelican. The Pelican seeing the mess on the ground opens fire. They hit you in their first volley and fly away. The lady up top brags about no friendly fire or something and you can’t sock her.
Level 6 and up: Mr. President another Bile Titan appeared.
At that point i will scream dont think just ACT kill it!!!!

The intensity of those final few seconds is always amazing, and the rush is unbeatable. Having your pickup delayed would be terrifying enough, especially if you’re already cutting it close with your stratagems

IDK how it works in Helldivers 2... But we should be able to be extracted anywhere we want. Or at least on any place that fulfill certain criteria (so dropship can land, like enough open space on the field and open sky with no obstruction). This way, we can pick the terrain to our most advantages... Or when that place have been overrun, we can retreat and pick another place.
Or at the very least, there are several LZ on the map instead of just ONE.

You did the objectives, there's no mission failure. Your survival was always optional.

A comedy-themed game that has better war vibe than most war-themed shooting games out there.

Or my personal favourite: calling in the extraction shuttle only to get swarmed and have to run away from the extraction point. The shuttle pilot be like: "welp, I'm out" *returns to orbit*
That’s when the squad drops mobile mortars and gives that bug the long tube of democracy 4 ways.
I have a game time of about 5 hours and had some epic scenes. From a 1 second boarding of the shuttle and having to leave my comrade right behind me on the planet, to heroic last stands and hillarious stupidity with stratagems.

The amount of times I've died to impact grenades, Grenade launchers and eagle runs because some jackass doesn't understand SAMPLES ARE SHARED. You want pvp? Go play Call of Dooty or Overwatch or frickin Gaypex.

Just had a similar situation last night, just me and another dude running an entire mission
Found myself in the middle of a mass of bugs earlier. So I prepped my orbital nuke, bid my comerades farewell, and dropped it at my feet. Standing on top of that rock for the next few seconds felt like nothing Ive ever experienced in a game before. I knew the swarm was coming with me, so I laughed.

I love when we get artillery pieces in missions, I always enjoy watching the big ones go pop when the shells impact.
