Aura or supposedly Burqa was probably the part 3 of the series. At the end of the Telephone they're wearing a veil that's shows they're trying to lay low and hide and it's like Burqa a traditional clothing from Islam countries that used to hide their identities.
I just wished that they let Aura be the Lead Single of Artpop so that it will have a MV. It's sad that these Masterpiece didn't had that one last final paint stroke to make it perfect.

Speaking of Andy Warhol, Gaga did a series of interludes during The Fame era for The Fame Tour titled "Who Shot Candy Warhol?" Gaga played the titular Candy Warhol, of course. There were 3 parts: The Heart, The Brain, The Face. Personally, I'd consider that a huge part of her artistry because it highlighted her eccentricity and was a clear commentary on fame and pop culture. Perhaps consider checking out those three short interludes as well as "The Fame: Part One" short film? I think it's essential to understanding the beginning of Gaga's artistry.

The Bad Romance video is also a little tribute/collab with Alexander McQueen.
The song made its public debut at his last runway show. The music video features many of his designs from that collection as well as the gloss white floor that was from that show. The two of them were very close friends, and he died during the Fame Monster era, and she dedicated one of her performances in England to him. This was their last partner work together.
McQueen loved Gaga, he allowed Nicola (gaga’s stylist) to take everything he wanted from that collection for the video. What a cutie. Actually the shoes that she’s using in the bath scene and bed scene are awesomely rare; there are less than 20 pairs of those shoes

Bad romance is the 2nd best music video of 21st century..1st is Thriller by MJ....best video of 2000's decade..and Telephone is the best video of 2010's... Both videos were nominated for Video Of the Year at 2010 VMAs in the same night..now thats iconic

unfortunately we never had a continuation of this video, gaga even planned it to be the single aura, from the album artpop, but the label denied it, then the song entered the soundtrack of the film machete kills, that the gaga made a special appearance... and the lyric video has a similar aesthetic with the telephone video
10:00 Paper Gangsta by Lady Gaga from The Fame album...
Also the Bad Romance video was essentially sex trafficking. Lady GaGa was abducted, drugged(the water) & then put out in front of Russian men(there’s a vodka reference in there somewhere) to bid on. At one point you can see the computer screens & the bids reaching a certain dollar amount. Finally at the end GaGa was purchased but not before killing her buyer. In my mind the video was an analogy for woman being treated as a commodity & thrown around like they’re material possessions but in the end, clever women have the last word. Some fun thoughts.

I don't see why this is so many people's favorite video, the story makes no sense. She has maaany others that are better
Erik Perhs it’s not the story. It’s the visual, the choreography, the cinematography, the direction. Yes the story was the weakest in the bunch. But also story wise most of her music videos aren’t very strong. Bunch literally every aspect of film is too teir in the music video. Plus the song is interesting of her best.
Another fun fact: Telephone has an audio-only sequel called Aura. Aura was originally 'Burqa', that made it more obvious that it was a Telephone/Paparazzi sequel because it started with 'I killed my boyfriend' instead of 'I killed my former' on Aura. It would've had a music video, but the ARTPOP app failed, so it didn't, and because burqa would be controversial, her label made her change it to Aura l.

Anyways, there WAS supposed to be a part 3 for Paparazzi-Telephone. HOWEVER, a lot of stuff happened between Gaga and her label around that time, so a lot of plans fell through.
There was supposed to be ArtPop Pt. 2, a shit-ton of songs were recorded, a lot of which STILL haven’t leaked to this day.
IMHO a lot of the scrapped songs should have replaced songs from the actual album (coughcoughbrooklynnightscoughcough)

I grew up in the 90’s when music videos were expensive, bad ass and…artistic. To me, Bad Romance fits right in with those. It took us back to the “golden era” of videos.

Update: because of ARTPOP’s 10th anniversary Gaga speak out about Part 3 of this Trilogy, it was supposed to be MANiCURE, which is an ARTPOP track, but the ARTPOP Era was a very bad era for Gaga; horrible decisions, almost every project canceled, weed addiction, fans abandoning her, and a lot of controversy (shout out to R. Kelly). Tragic we’ll never get the ending of this.

I think that in Bad Romance she is showing in the video her relationship with the fame, the record label, the managers, the critics, etc... she wants it so bad, even tho it hurts, it's a continuation of The Fame, wich basicly she wrote about The Fame without being famous, and now she is talking about the Monster that the fame really is; and now she wears it, she wears the fame monster.
