Codemasters has one of the best pinball games on any 16 bit console. Any pinball head needs it for that alone. It's one of my most played carts and I've spent significant time with a bunch of the games.
The biggest flaw of the Worms cartridge is that they left the best game (Amiga version of Worms 1) as a hidden game that requires Evercade VS and Team17 cartridge. No way of playing this on the handhelds. This version is very good and plays excellently even on Evercade, but they somehow decided to hide this one and leave us with the utterly terrible Genesis version. What a shame.
100% this.
For me Worms & Technos Collection 1 are the least played..., but as Evercade is a bit like a Retro Magazine with each release you want to collect them all. 😉
Lol good comparison.. I've bought plenty an issue that I've never actually read!
I can understand all of these, even Asteborg which is one of my favourite carts, if they ain't your cup of tea it ain't your cup of tea. However, many of them I didn't play much but having put tme into some I've found there's more to enjoy than first impressions suggested.
Brainbender is pretty great once you understand it.
CB listen for a knock on your door ive phoned the police to take you away 🤣there some great games in there 👍👍
😁 🙈
Worms collection has never left its case 😂
Intellivisions will forever remain in there's after I'd tried them
Intellivision games aged so badly. But, frankly, this is one of the consoles, which caused the videogame crash of the 1980s, so there is no surprise that the games aged poorly.
I keep playing thunder castle and shark shark but it’s mostly tosh
I just bought Demons I wasn’t sure about the cart at first but I think it came out at a bad time, when Goodboy Galaxy and Duke carts were coming out. It was always going to take a back seat. I do think the indie carts are the best ones on Evercade, if you don’t have arcade nostalgia, really enjoyed them.
Yeah agree with that. Definitely bad timing.
Demons is one of the best carts. I paid $130+ for these two games on Genesis.
@@KeenRetroGames 😬
@@CrazyBurger I paid £70 to kickstart Goodboy Galaxy. Evercade cartridges are an insanely good deal. I don't think people realize just how good a deal they are.
@@KeenRetroGames for the most part yeah. If you're buying physical then absolutely. But if buying digitally it's at times not good value.
My bottom are probably Sydney, Gremlin, Bitmap, Home Computer Heroes, Gaelco 2, Intellivision 2, Sunsoft. My haven't played at alls are Astebros (I have them both on Genesis and love them, but I haven't played them on Evercade yet) and Duke 2 (have Time to Kill and Advance physical but I haven't gotten time to play them on Evercade yet). Gremlin and Bitmap don't have much I love, the rest have just not come up in high score competitions or my random selection mechanism.
My 7 least played without a doubt has to be. In no particular order.
1- Worm's collection
2- Intellivision 1
3- Intellivision 2
4- piko collection 2
5- Atari acade
6- team 17 collection.
7- Sunsoft collection 1
I'll take that Technos Red off your hands. I love River City Ransom and would definitely enjoy it on Evercade.
I agree. Double Dragon never did anything for me. Having one button to punch forward and one to back kick was always weird to me. River City Ransom is much better.
My least played carts are easily Sunsoft and Piko 3.
Other than loading them I've never gone back.
Delphine Collection and Full Void. Not my type of games so they remain on my shelf sealed.
Understand the Delphine collection. The point n click games are tough to get into.
😂🎉
Not at all surprised to see Worms on there, Worms is probably the LAST cart I'll buy but you really need to give those Codemasters games more of a chance...I held off on Gremlin for a while too, because the only game on it that I'm interested in is Utopia. I'm getting quite a bit of play out of Piko 3 between Wukong and Zero Tolerance...I think that Piko 2 is more deserving of this list.
The thing is with Codemasters is the NES versions. For me Codemasters was C64 and Spectrum games. Playing these versions feels a bit odd.
I'd have the two Interplay cartridges somewhere on there , there's some real dog shit on them , along with PIKO 2 !
Wow. Seven seems ALOT! So many not played?! Does that also make them bad collections too Crazy Burger? I agree with those choices though. Let’s hope this trend doesn’t continue. It almost the way a cart is valued should be. What we want to play, verses what just seems good?! 🤔
No some of these aren't necessarily bad collections. Just didn't grab me like others have. A couple I would say are bad carts though.
Your least played are my most played....
A couple of weeks ago I hit the wall. I just looked at the collection and asked why?
I began collecting when the Oliver Twins cart became avaliable in January of 2021 and had purchased owned every cartridge released before and after. I had a Founders edition VS and had proudly shown off my name on the special thanks list to family and friends. But after a few missteps such as the supposed EXP heist, misaligned screens on the supposedly limited super pocket, and some poor game choices, I gave up. I looked at all the space it was taking up and thought, right or wrong, now is the time to sell.
I eventually let it all go for a little under a grand. I might regret it in the future, but right now I feel at peace with my decision.
"Supposed" fucking conspiracy q anon dorks
Despite being only 4 years available at max, some Evercade's offerings are already starting to don't age well! Gremlins is the most "hipster" Collection ever released, it's weird but not playable at the same level. Intellivision 2 is pure $H|? due lo the inexistent optimizations, all Piko offerings are full of "games that won't last any sign on you even after you played them", including the first one. The two Mega Cat ones are full of useless if not even bad games also, like "Coffee Crisis" as an example and a lot of clone games (just a few are really not bad at all).
When 2024 started, my interest about Evercade started to go downwards, plus they're still doing a lot of business with Piko and their cr@ppy stuff, while other names who deserve a second chapter are still at number one of release (Jaleco, Data East or Renovation as three examples), but the worst side of Evercade is the dumb level of some of its community: now they're going mad for a "64-bit game"...oh man, it's just ONE GAME and even a really bad one. It seems that they really don't know of what they're talkin' about, nope. Too much useless stuff masked as "hidden gems", while the truth lies in the other side of the view: it's just "well dressed çr@p". I like Evercade, but I honestly hate a lot of aspects about the way how the things are growing at the actual state...! The only really valuable offering for now seems to be the Sunsoft collections: their games on Evercade are not masterpieces but you can feel the love and passion that they put in: there's stuff where both the company and the people really care about (Gimmick, U-four-ia and games like these). It's a nice midway.
Its not even about the sprite size with worms the controls are just so unintuitive in this day and age. Its just aged really badly.
Worms Collection and Delphine Collection will never be played again,Both Awful
Both Namco collections won’t be played again as I can’t play them on the VS and the Carts are too Big for my EXP
Use some butter! Squeeze them in lol
Life's too short to play mediocre games
You mean any game
Lol exactly.
