  • This is my interpretation of the drum and bass that where played during the jam at the end of PLINI’s concert in Europe. He invites Jack Gardiner and Jakub Zytecki on stage to improvise over this track. After Jack and Kakub has shown their incredible talent, Plini and Jake Howsam Lowe (band member) do a twin improvisation.
    I added piano to give the track a little more body and added some reverb to experience more of a live feeling.

    Hier was ik nou net naar op zoek! Geweldig! De electric sunrise jams van Plini zijn zo dynamisch en dat miste ik nog in andere backing tracks. 👍

    I know a little trick to playing in Lydia. Correct me if I’m wrong but I use this whole time. Just use the relative minor which would be A Dorian. It has a nice viewpoint.

    Whats the best aproach to do in this backin? Use aeolian, lydian, dorian and some pentatonics?

      I would use C lydian (G major), Cmaj pent, Bm pent and Em pent. A nice twist is to play D mixolydian to swap the tonic C with D.

    Why it sounds mixolydian to me? Maybe the add9 in C?

  • @Escape99100

    Better if you try with D/C in the second chord to highlight the C

      Yes that is a good way to establish the lydian mode, but that's not what Simon Grove played during this jam :)

  • @ViniciusPereira-po2el

    why c major pentatonics?

    • @QJamTracks
      @QJamTracks  Před rokem +1

      Because it fits the C Lydian scale (although you'll miss the characteristic note F#)
