Thankyou sir. I am basically Engineering background. And I want prepare UPSC with engineering optional. Because I also preparing for gate and ese. UPSC and Gate both are different in exam pattern but same syllabus. I don't know it is right or wrong. Like you said more resources available in internet so I am very confusing to preparing. Please guide me where from I start to prepare.

It is a fact. See the past results. Many backbenchers have come out successful in UPSC and many College toppers have missed out UPSC. So no brainwashing. Do you know how many queries we are receiving daily in this regard.
@@RajaSirsCrackingIASChennai I accept the fact that no such topper qualification is needed for upsc but toppers have definitely an advantage in upsc as u can see in past year results u can see In tamilnadu also students who are graduated from CEG IIT,MADRAS having high success rate over others...so u cannot simply say that toppers are not having advantage in upsc though in long run hard work matters.
