Simon, Shane and Nathan are back with a special one-off video version of the Zwiftcast to celebrate our century. We reflect on how far Zwift has come since Episode One of the podcast, five years ago.
Just absolutely delighted to see this Zwiftcast. My favourite Zwift info channel. Edit: DEFINITELY should be open world. Because I *like* Zwifting in a lonely place. When there are tons of people around I can't stand it - it makes me anxious. So not only should it be open world, there should be LOTS more worlds and courses added so I can be alone if I want to be.
I loved this look back in time and all the wonderful commentary about how to continue improving the platform. I am really excited for the investments I am seeing at Zwift HQ to address a lot of what you brought up. Ride on.
Fascinating video! I'm relatively new to Zwift (February 2021) and love it. It was really interesting to see the history of Zwift's development. In terms of future developments, I'd like to see more Zwift-organised large-group events. I also think differentiating between "community races" vs "elite/competitive races" would be interesting. Sarah on the the Channel "Everything is Photogenic" has two excellent vids talking through her gripes about Zwift, with suggestions. Worth a watch - put the kettle on as they are also about 1 hr total! p.s. I can't believe you have so few likes to this video. I can see why you decided to stick with the audio podcast.
Just a follow-up. This video prompted me to learn how to listen to podcasts (I know; I'm a slow learner), since when I have been listening to past Zwiftcasts, from 101 backwards (I'm now at Zwiftcast 89). I'm loving them! I have gained a deeper appreciation of what I do have in Zwift, hearing about how all of these newer features developed over time. It's particularly interesting to hear the interviews with the big Kahunas in Zwift. I can't think of many major companies that would be as open to questions. Keep up the podcasts, you have a new subscriber!

25 mins in on Ep100...three white men taking about women riding on Zwift. Come on Simon, it's it time.....?
