I remember seeing this a few years back when it was discovered. But why exactly was Microsoft having this made, and what was their reason for canceling? Seems like it would have printed money for them considering Goldeneyes' popularity to us older players combined with the completely reworked textures.

I don't know, I thought I heard that rare was making this without Microsoft's say so and after pitching it to Microsoft they chose not to release it. I'll have to google it and look into it..
