I mean I’m being serious here, it’s probably a constarch fry. It’s usually lighter in color and supposed to be crispy. Possibly even potato starch for the frying batter. ( Both are supposed to have crispy textures and light in color )
@@qzilla4851 Wrong. The color of the chicken is indicative of the frying oils longevity. The light color indicates the oil was probably newer. The dark brown spots on the chicken is where it wasnt dipped in the batter enough, and wasnt breaded well enough. Looks like it got half assed battered and breaded. As for it being dry, it most likely had gotten fried beforehand and was laying around as extra and the restaurant workers are being taught to not waste food.

somehow in june 2021 this place is still open, maybe because it's way up in connecticut and they don't know what real fried chicken is or maybe it's just famous for being bad, people keep buying it.
It's a front for an illegal business, that's why it's still open.

Two years later and Wing Madness was one of the few restaurants to survive CV19, and they still have a 2.5 star rating, and still are getting mostly bad/terrible reviews.

I use to be a cook at KFC. They didn't bread that chicken correctly, its definitely been sitting for a while in a warmer from the looks of it. By the way you described it, it sounds like the chicken has been sitting there all day and then redropped into a fryer. That would explain the grease.
