glad to hear the MKZ can fit down to 15" wheels I really do not like big wheels with thin little tires on a car that is meant to have good ride quality

Yeah it really affects the ride quality

I didn’t find any link below. I bought a 2018 MKZ AWD Reserve 2.0 Turbo. I traded my 2011 V6 MKZ. I love my car. If I need to change lanes at the last minute I just go on throttle & I’m pinned in my seat. I’ve had various 4 cylinder’s in the past including turbo’s. Not one ever pinned me in my seat my V6 had power & I had a TransAm with a V8 with a 400 HP. I definitely love the power my car has. In buying my car I didn’t see any V6 AWD. That car has 400 HP & 400 pound feet of Torque. The park hill assist is a fantastic option on my car. Love the heated mirrors, seats, steering wheel & the cooled seats too. It has 2 options for hands free parking & an excellent backup camera. It has a lot of safety features too keep you safe while driving. I love the Sound System too. I have the Moonroof. The only thing missing from my car is the massage seats. My car has paddle shifters too. My leather seats fit me like a glove. My only problem is the battery. I shut off everything in the car but If I don’t drive it after a certain amount of time I have to just start it. I bought a new battery & I had to jump start it. I’m not buying the excuse that I have all of the safety features it’s the problem. I definitely shutdown everything I can. I always have. I’ve been buying cars since 1978. I’ve worked in 2 automotive warehouse’s in my life. My cars have never been garaged kept. I grew up on a mountain with weather in sub zero temperatures & massive feet of snow. Luckily, since buying my car we haven’t had any sub zero temperatures nor any outrageous snow storms. We have had when I first moved to where I am. I was snowed in for 5 days. Any battery issues you can help me with? Anyone else have experienced battery problems?

Thank you for reminding me, I’ve updated the description box. As to battery draining, I believe there is a tsb on this battery draining issue for the 2013-2016 models but not sure if it applies to 2018. But you will find great help at the MKZ facebook group in the description below. Hope someone can lead you in the right direction:)

Hey how soft is the suspension in confort mode? Do you consider its a cloudy and plush feel? Looking forward to se the next car you get btw

Definitely not a cloudy feel, you can still feel the bumps transmitted into the cabin. Very unstable feeling. Doesn’t feel good if I’m being honest haha

@@321verykind oh okay thanks that's a good way for describing!

@@321verykindhave you ever driven the Fusion? It felt a little stiffer and had a lot of side to side movement over bumps, but I haven't had much time in an MKZ to compare

While you were looking replacement cars, did you find anything as soft as the MKZ with decent fuel economy? Since "sporty" and "handling" sell cars today, I can't imagine anything being soft without adaptive control. I tried a newer Altima and Camry and they were both slightly firm. Some Lexus 300h reviews say even that is stiffer than expected

The only car that had a decent ride was the genesis g80 but it was not fuel efficient at all and the electric version was way out of my price range. Lexus es hybrid is probably your best bet for fuel economy and comfort (although i didn’t try that out)

Agreed! The newer models are more of luxury car:)
