  • Today I take the tractor out and clean up some neglected trails in the woods. the combination of the LS2 laneshark and the landpride brush hog really mulch everything up

I can see a big advantage to being able to carry this on the front and a cutter on the back. It gets the high stuff in your way and light stuff out front and lets the cutter do the heavy work without swapping implements.

Hello, I like your videos, I like the way you use the lane shark, I like to get one for my farm, I see you had another equipment at the back of your tractor, can you give me the name of that equipment please and where to get it?
    Thanks for your time

Enjoyed this GA. Was considering getting one of these but it seems it's too cumbersome and the clearing capacity appears to be a bit slight. I have a lot of thick vegetation areas as this. I'm still investigating on what implement to get for areas such as this. Thanks much for the nicely edited video. 👍🏽🙂.

Clearing is just fine when its dont the correct way…. Its a brush hog it will clear just fine…. The ability to move it forward sideways etc is what makes it even better

So that runs fine off the front hydraulic connection? No auxiliary pump needed?

    • @tangoseal1

You need a 3rd function setup on your loader for it to work. It runs off the tractors internal hydro pump. The same pump that powers your power steering and front end loader etc...

    Thanks for this.
Questions: Are you running the brushog at the same time? Is the hydraulic power from the 3rd function sufficient to keep the laneshark cutting in heavy brush?

Yes I am running the brush hog at the same time. I would say that the Hydro flow is not sufficient to keep it cutting in heavy brush, that's probably why it's advertised as not being a land clearing mower. In heavy stuff you have to take your time and let it get back up to speed.

@@grandladventures573 if you don’t mind me asking, what is the gpm on that tractor? Are you running the full size mower?

Great video except for the interrupting music in the background so we couldn't hear the blade cutting. Hope to find a different video of the Lane Shark working without the music.

Got the same tractor. I can the same, maybe even a better job it’s my brush hog and my grapple bucket. I just rip all the crap do not and run over it. I am personally not that impressed with the lane shark. To small and underpowered . It is a what it is. Not loving it
