@@davidbenasulin you are just awesome for taking the time to share this with me!!! I’m so glad we connected and Thank you!
He was drop-dead gorgeous in the 1980s and still looks great, can you believe he`s 63 now???
He looks amazing as always!
pretty much
When I went to rehab for alcohol in 2015, I lived 28 days on site - it saved my life - and I had John Taylor's memoir to help me endure. The band - they're all fantastic - John's growth is just been incredible. I'm still sober today - John's led by example. I think he's been learning piano as well as his painting - his bass tutorial vids from during lockdown are terrific. So was his interviews with Susanna Hoffs - and I think Billy Idol, too? God Bless you, Nigel John Taylor! Trust the Process!
and I'm glad too John got thru Covid-19 infection - stay strong!
Good work. It’s a great book for sure.
I love John ❤
Retreat into Art!
One of the most well-spoken,gracious men EVER!!!❤
He truly is!
You know
I am so glad that I had once got entangled in conversation with him on one of those very nights of an Q&A with Autograph session. He cut away from speaking to the host twice to speak up to me from his seat on the stage before I got in the autograph line.
He asked me directly (while I was a bit dazed, still amazed I’m there at the event) “Are we still doing it right?” Realized he was talking to me, snapping out of it “What? ME?!” (He laughs) “Well yeah of course you are, it’s still fantastic!!” The other question was at first to everyone if they remember the movie Still Crazy, and direct to me again “Do you? It’s a good one”
John je blizanac u horoskopu, a mi blizanci smo ljubazni, nasmejani, komunikativni
John really is a delight. I'm so glad you got to talk to him and share it with us.

I listened to Duran Duran as a pre teen in the 80s they were fun to listen to ❤
Since 1980-81 I was in love with everything Duran Duran & John Taylor has been my biggest crush ever. I made a great choice & when I see this handsome articulate gentleman today my heart fills with joy and gratitude for the years of amazing tunes that are forever engraved in my heart and soul becoming a quintessential part of my musical emotional passion.
25:30 - 50 shows!, and there are only 52 weekends in a year. A new album, constant playing and touring, these guys play themselves down.
When he goes MMmmm. It reminds me of when his bass goes Wooommm!
I can take the “you knows” better than “like” every other word!
I'm in Love with Duran Duran since 1981, (Planet Earth) and they are part of my life. The last album Future Past it's a masterpiece, I saw them last year here in Portugal in a show with 80.000 people crazy with their live performance, John it's a great musician and a guy with great taste. Thank you for this inspiring and amazing interview, I hope you can invite Nick Rhodes too.
Calm down for gawds sake.
I´m depressed, thank you for this Allison.
I Love Duran, John, and the interview. I do wish that he could listen back to this, and then FOREVER Remove, "you know" from his vocabulary. Imagine this interview with Every "you know" removed.
Saw Duran Duran with Niles in Vegas this weekend. What a great show. Loved John's green base guitar. It stood out for sure.
Opps! Bass.
sweet interview!! As a longtime lover of all things musical, rock n roll whatever, who only got as far as working at MTV for a few years, I appreciate your enthusiasm and honesty with your guests in your interactions. 👍 This one especially due to Duran (and John in particular) being my absolute favorite band and band member of all time. 👏👏❤️❤️
I can’t tell you how much this means to me. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this ❤️🙏🏼❤️
Fun interview, nice to hear questions not normally asked❤
Thank you so much for your feedback! ❤️
A good interview indeed. Even though you might have been too young when Duran Duran dominated the world, you did a good job with the interview, Allison.
I truly appreciate this. Thank you!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
John’s a really good talker who’s survived the pop business.
omg! cant wait!!
This is my favorite interview by you so far, John in a legend! Duran Duran is one of the the best! Also, Tears for Fears (my fav) how about interviewing Roland Orzabal & Curt Smith? They are currently on tour as well! Your interviews are fantastic, you are so kind and funny and respectful of these amazing artists! Loved the Billy Corgan interview too! Bravo!
You just made my day! Thank you so much for your support and for taking the time to share your amazing feedback with me!!! I love Tears For Fears too! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The Hurting.
Every project he's done, from Duran Duran to Power Station to Neurotic Outsiders to his solo single on the 9 1/2 weeks Soundtrack, has been fabulous.
I'm an average 57 year old in England, always loved Duran and always thought John was the cool one including all my girlfriends at the time. Side Note: I really liked Adam and the Ants :)
John seems very honest and grounded, it's called growing up, kudos to him and the band

Duran Duran es eterno y Taylor un talento único.
Good Podcast nice one 👌
What a man! It s not whithout a reason that he is one of the greatest Rockstar. And Future Past, their last album, is one of the DD Top 3 albums!
❤️🤘
Awesome interview. Sounds like you both really enjoyed it. :) He inspired me to pick up the bass guitar back in the 80s.
Hope you get a chance to see his art work one day. :)
Thank you so much for tuning in and for sharing this with me ❤️🙏🏼

John loves to say "You,Know" A LOT!! LOL
Don't even think he even realizes he does it!
🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Well there you go " You know" 😉
Jon Taylor is the man. I look forward to the Danse Macabre album
Some counted how many times JT said "you know" ? 😂❤😂❤😂
❤️😘
❤️❤️❤️
I know
🌠Alright...Good One Guys..Interesting...
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I’m a little surprised she didn’t know about his art, considering he had an exhibition just last year. Unless she was trying to get him to bring it up himself.
You got it! 🥰
YOU KNOW...😳😳😳
I just Love him so much ❤ Oh no dont "You Know" im never gonna let you go Oh Nooooo ❤💋❤
All gentlemen with a fire inside true killers.
Interviewer, next time read the quest's book beforehand. It is all in there.
Wow you very open soul frends is for Grettyng best divisions of all life DD❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
John says, "You know" so many times, it's distracting. This is normally corrected through media training.
Lord have mercy it's so bad. I adore John but ooof. You know.
It doesnt matter so much. Its the content of the interview that matters. Both Allison and John killed this interview. So much information for fans and newbies alike.
He actually wasn’t that bad in this one. I’ve see/heard worse. That being said, he was pretty relaxed and open here so I’ll take the you knows! 🥰
@@JC-yz1sf ive loved John since is was 7 years old. im not even joking. ill take the you knows as well. just very distracting. lol
@@cleanenergyinside1921 If you're a visual person, it may not matter. I am a verbal person and it does matter. I pay attention to words and their meaning and when those words are constantly peppered with "You know" it gets very distracting. Effective speaking can inspire and motivate people. That's why rhetoric was taught for centuries.
John is gemini. He is nice. Gemini has that it factor.
John is a legend......end of....but how many "you knows" did he say??😜😜😂🤣......lost count after 100 😂🤣🤣
*RANDY JUDAH TORREZ* ❤️
What happened to the 5th band member?
Andy has cancer. Prayers
He quit the band around the time of the Red carpet massacre album. He does his own work now. He is battling cancer, but seems to have found a treatment.
The secret to the longevity of the band is simple, it's take lots of vitamins and supplements and the band stays around 45 years.
Fatalism is good and not 🌔🌎💥⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️🌟🌟☘️
Allison has not got a clue, bravo John
Hi! I’m not quite sure what you mean but thank you so much for tuning in. I’m so grateful for this special sit-down with this living legend. 🙏🏼
I grow up with DD and John's music...thanks for this wonderful interview!!!!❤
Thank YOU for being part of it!
Count the "you knows". Ive given up. All inhesr is "you know"!???!!?!!!
The ripped T-shirt implying sexuality does not add credibility, especially in this day and age. Does nothing for me. Show me you did research and ask original questions for cred.
50 shifts ( on more than 5 hours) isn't bad for making stupid American money. That's why they play the cheesiest inventory among their songs. Old dudes and laziness. Let's just be real about that. I'm not saying JT is a terrible guy ...but I can promise anyone and bet a few limbs ( not that it's that deep ) dude isn't the most beneee dude just because he's in his elder years.
You know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know , uou know, you know. Do you know? Annoying isnt it?
It is not that bad. I don't even notice it. I am focused on what he is saying.😊
Get rid of the tufty look hair. Fringe over your forehead and cut layered will take years off you.
Her or him?!
In the beginning it seemed to be a strategy to cover up a thinning crown. But now it looks as though he doesn't comb it.
Legend JT!!! the producer of BTS ,Bang si heok was inspired by Duran Duran when starting BTS
R E EEEE ACH OUT FOR THEsunrise . Really JT
