It wasn't made in 1830. It's a Miraculous Medal. 1830 is the date of the miracle. Some Catholics still wear the exact same design today. My dad wore one when I was a kid and I've found one in a Union Camp just like it. Check them out online.

Tennessee Gem that's funny and is a great idea.
Look up iron stone, staffordshire, England for starters. They have many many marks that vary slightly. I think thats a unicorn.
