Bhumilakshmi Scheme, Launched by the Government of West Bengal in 2018, Is a Path-Breaking Initiative That Aims to Empower Women Farmers in the State. Through This Scheme, the State Government Intends to Provide Land Pattas (Ownership Documents) to Women Farmers Who Are Cultivating Land as Tenants. the Scheme Aims to Address the Long-Standing Issue of Gender Inequality in Land Ownership in the State, Where Women Are Often Denied Their Rightful Share of Land.
Under the Bhumilakshmi Scheme, Women Farmers Who Have Been Cultivating Land as Tenants for at Least Two Years Are Eligible to Apply for Ownership Documents. Once Their Application Is Approved, They Will Be Given a Land Patta in Their Name, Which Will Give Them Legal Ownership of the Land They Have Been Cultivating. This Will Not Only Provide Them with a Sense of Security and Dignity but Also Make Them Eligible for Various Government Schemes and Benefits That Are Available Only to Landowners. This Scheme Has Received an Overwhelming Response from Women Farmers Across the State. Thousands of Women Have Already Received Land Pattas Under the Scheme, and Many More Are in the Process of Applying. the Scheme Has Not Only Helped Women Farmers to Gain Ownership of Land but Has Also Empowered Them to Take Up Farming as a Profession and Earn Livelihood. Many Women Who Were Earlier Working as Agricultural Laborers Have Now Become Independent Farmers, Thanks to the Scheme.

I approached the IOB bank today. Bank manager isn't aware of this loan scheme. I explained about this scheme to him then he checked something on his computer and said that the scheme is available. However, we need to show him some security to get this loan. Next thing interest rate is approximately 11% but in this video it is mentioned that 2.25%. It was shocking for me when I heard this from manager. In IOB website itself they mentioned that MCLR+2.25%. MCLR comes around 9 to 10%. If the interest percentage is 11% why would I go for agri based loan? Rather I would get a personal loan at 10%.. Please research and post the videos. Don't mislead people..

Absolutely sir ....we went to IOB bank for this same reason..interest rate is 9.8+2.25%...upto 10 lakhs they give ... we have to give surity..and income certificate.
