Great idea with valentines right around the corner!
thank you! I cant take credit for thinking of it, but I did think it was timely and could be useful for someone :)
Turned out very nice Matt and looks like a fun project.
Take care,
Gary
totally recommend it, its really good fun, and you can get a surprising variation between them as well. Thanks for watching Gary
That is really cute! I am a newbie, but that looks like something I might be able to do. I know at least I am going to give it a try. Thank you for sharing.
So cute. Will try to make one. Thanks for sharing
have never seen these made this way Matt definitely going to give this a go would be a good project to try some colouring to I reckon thanks for the idea
Yeah that sounds like a great idea. I didn't like the other way so much which uses a jam chuck in the open end, seemed unnecessary to me. Thanks for watching as always :)
I love it. Iâm gonna try to make it with no lathe. Thank you for sharing.
oooooo that sounds like fun! let us know how it goes!
Most impressed with this. First I have seen using this method. I'm going to give it a try. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful! What a great idea!
I so love that flower, great job!
Very interesting idea and excellent work!
Thank you very much and thanks for watching Sergey :)
Amazing piece Matt, this id far simpler than I thought it was (well, you made it look easy). Thanks for the inspiration.
Keep on turning.
Cheers, Bluey đ
It's really.not that hard if you get the order of operations right, as usual! Thanks for watching as always :)
So pretty! đ·
thank you!! xxx
Nice job but you could have cut the petals on the bandsaw before you turned the blank, much easier!
Check that grain! Love it. What is the timber?
sorry for late reply. Amazingly it was a bit of old leylandii hedge I tore out a year before
"I brougt you flowers"
""What kind of flowers?"
"Undying...like my love for you"
-Book of cheesy lines
P.S. - I think I would have stuck my finger in there. Good piece of advice! XD
