Ultimately, how much you think your time and effort was worth is down to you, so charge what you think is appropriate. Either people will say "yeah, that's fair considering the effort that goes into making them" and buy them or "no way I'm paying that" and won't. In any case, I look forward to seeing what you decide and (hopefully) owning one of these beautiful pens.

You say 70-100$ than it's 1$ by the hour when you think that the pen takes 100 hours to make. Would you work for a Dollar?
@@kiwaycanny6522 i firsthand mentioned that you cannot pay the price for hardwork and also it's not gonna take 100 hours everytime to build one and when you build in bulk it will be more cost efficient.
At the end of the day, it’s still a pen. A really fancy one but still a steel pen. Any plastic one will write as well, and it’s not like it’s made of precious metals or encrusted with gem stones that would beef up the price. Not even a fountain pen which goes for more than your typical ballpoint. I agree with the one guy, $70-$100 is the max I’d even remotely consider. Maybe someone swimming in cash could afford more, but that’s hardly the audience one has on CZcams normally.

This is a beautiful project, and I love your videos. The bare minimum for handmade items should be three times the cost of materials, but people balk at paying so much for the item. Whether or not you want to make them in bulk is entirely up to you. If you think that making so many would burn you out and take away the joy of making something, then I don’t think it’s worth it.

I assume that you have a jar of “Pipe butter” in your shop in the event that you get any cuts and/or burns you might get.
Plus the added benefit of using pipe butter is that it protects cuts from infections and they heal faster with minimal scarring as well as it will leave your hands smooth and moisturized.
So it would be wise to keep a jar of Vaseline in the shop.
Yes Pipe Butter was the original name of Vaseline. It was a biproduct from drilling for crude oil. And it was something that was viewed as waste and the workers would just toss it out or give it away for free by the bucket loads.
Please do NOT suggest using any sort of greasy material to use on a burn, it will only make it worse. Make sure to use cold water on any sort of burn, when the burning sensation has subsided, THEN you can apply other ointments.

I reckon you do that again with Nickel as the infill. Then etch it in ferric chloride, it'll be a step up and look even more cool. I mean this is pretty dang cool as it is now but you have the skills for even cooler.

I think I know why that one hole came out off-center. The tool holder wasn't quite centered relative to the vise, so the drill bit would bend a little and go in at a slight angle every time you drilled.
