- Hey Folks, Today i am restoring this rusted VIKING sword which i got from a sword seller. I found this project interesting so i am showing the whole restoration process of turning this trash sword into an amazing process in this video. I hope you guys will love the Finishing product so sit back relax and enjoy the video.
The Overall Sword length is = 3ft 5inches
The blade length = 2ft 7inches
handle length = 8inches
Width = 2inches
Here is the whole procedure of this video
o. Used very diluted Sulphuric Acid for removing RUST.
o. Perfectly sanded the blade by different grits of sandpapers.
o. Whet sanding was done upto 1500 grits..
o. Polished the blade on bench grinder.
o. Used lost foam casting technique for making handle.
o. Brass Casting was done in my homemade furnace.
o. Sanded the guard with files and after that sanded with different grit of sand papers.
o. Etched our logo of random hands with the help of Ferric Chloride.
o. Dark wood chosen for the handle.
o. I used black leatherette for better grip on the handle.
o. I embedded the Brass RH logo onto the handle.
o. The overall Sword is so shiny and beautiful.

I wonder if any of these swords he has restored have actually seen blood and battle.
Hmm
Are you serious ?
If the swords were authentical they would be in a museum. So the swords he restores are replicas.
@@kasperonnimikaelrissanen Not necessarily. There is many Viking swords, and not all of them are found by the government or museums. Some are just found and sold to the highest bidder.
@@mrman9977 That’s illegal.
Maybe a shield to match that sword?
That’ll look nice
That's an double handed sword
Maybe to someone with small hands like me but I’m pretty sure those kind of Viking swords are meant to be used one handed
Along with a rounded shield of course
Wanna know why theres no shield? CAUSE THEY WEREN'T MADE IT THE VIKING AGE
Alright jesus calm down
I thought it would look good I’m not saying any facts

He might gain some money, but he deserves that👍
Well not everyone is a wuss
not clickbait, accurate title, and entertaining video. 10/10 would recommend
It’s funny how his titles look like click bait, yet the really do deliver in their promise.

SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SWORD, LIKE CONANS!!!!!
Hey man I just wanted you to know that your CZcams videos are truly amazing. They always brighten my day and I hope you never stop
czcams.com/video/lI_aBSehNfc/video.html this is sowrd of man
Very nice shine to start with. Amazed how the acid cleaned up the rust .
I love swords and knives. So to see something brought back to life is truly EPIC! Keep up the great work and can't wait to see more.😁
Absolutely fantastic restoration! There is just something so incredibly satisfying about taking an old, rusty, and dirty piece of metal, and transforming it into a SHINY, GLIMMERING, and MIRROR-LIKE masterpiece! So many people on CZcams doing restoration videos are too lazy to bring the metal to that mirror-like shine, they just ruin it with dark dyes... making the metal into some kind of dull... ugly black garbage. Using ferrous oxide, or other awful darkening agents. This restoration was beautiful! That viking sword went from a rusty piece of junk, to a glorious shiny weapon that Asgardians would be happy to own!
The attention to detail on this was incredible! Even the hilt, guard, and end of the sword were shined into mirror-like beauty! Not to mention... you actually FORGED those pieces to begin with! Also... the design of those pieces was gorgeous! The only thing I wasy crazy about was the actual handle itself. It didn't look comfortable, and didn't look like it was as nice as the rest of it.
Your videos gives me so much inspiration and motivation! I too try to make wooden weapons as well but arms surely are made complete when forged with metal :D
That is an elligant sword. Well done sir. Odin would be proud
Man I can’t wait till this man makes an iron man armor in a cave
Random Hands built this in a CAVE! with a box of SCRAPS
I feel like I can be a dragonborn with this!
Credit where credit is due: Accurate title. Well done for being honest. For once.
Epic
And this guy is actually a guy who knows what he’s talking about.
He should’ve added replica
Theis guy.😂i just saw they greek version.somthing træls me got both swords in the same shop.
@@bjrn.b967 All his weapons are reproductions, replicas, except for (IIRC) a single butchers cleaver, and a recent firearm. And nothing he does is restoration.
The Norse would be proud of ya, Random Hands
Beowulf: ah, a fine sword! Perfect for killing dragons!
It’s always black and gold with this guy.

A bloody good version of the lost wax method for the tang furniture. Well impressed.
Anyone else think he just buys swords, removes the hilt, and throws them in salt water for a week so he can make these videos?
Dude iv been thinking the exact same thing
Look at the metal after they take the rust off you can see what’s been rusted A long time and what hasn’t by seeing if it’s eaten into the metal yet
No one thinks that
i really dont doubt it but you cant hate. just respect the hustle.
@@Ghu130 That is bollocks. He clearly just buys cheap wall hangers, leaves them out in the rain then "restores" them.
They have so recently been left to rust there isn't even any serious pitting to the metal.
Seriously why would anyone subscribe to this BS.
Oh my goodness! 800 A.D. to the 11th century Vikings sword 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

TBH I don't know why is it so satisfying to watch you restore all those swords.... and u r doin it like a pro.
This is Sword Asta,in anime Black Clover
Yes, finally something that satisfied me. I love the guard of the sword and maybe the handle is quite off because the top is way thicker than the bottom one. Overall good job, you finally did some research.
It seems u make the metal rust by a solution
I noticed that too.
For all those asking whether this is a sword from the viking age: no. No 1000+ years old sword is in THAT mint condition.
It's an awesome video and transformation none the less, I enjoyed watching this a lot!
I have no worry about he will eat my noodles.
I subscribed already.
yay.
Your skills have gotten better 👍
I've been watching your videos since 2017

*Swords* but i agree.
Mad respect. Casting and refining your own handle assembly is really impressive.
At this point all of his furniture must just be restored weaponry - iron throne style.
Absolutely wonderful Viking Sword restoration !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Top of the handle being thicker than the guard is a bit weird for my perfectionnist eyes but good job overall !
Do you not understand how swords work?
@@Evegahana do you not understand what you read ?
By far, the best restoration build that you’ve done. The blade, the brass castings were excellent. Keep up the good work, little brother...
I get that you're an expert, but I get scared seeing you handle acid without any safety equipment 💀
Atleast its not nitric asid.........oh wait....

The metal parts are so beautiful, super!😮😮👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎉
Why does he even have a rusty Viking sword
Oh great question its his great great great great great great great grandfather yes typo
Nice work. Despite the rust there was virtually no pitting so it produced such a nice shine. And the upturned guard and pommel do fit the Norse style and look good. Relaxing to watch the work done.
I just realized he has like 2 million swords axes and knifes some how he has never shown multiple
Really nice job. But seriously extra respect for sharpening it and showing us how sharp it was.
Not a real viking sword you just bought a "replica" and left it out in the weather. Your method of "restoring" is more modifying hap hazardly and destructive. If that was an actual antique it would be worthless.
Ngl those clouds were pretty cool
Woow, that sword is biutiful, this is your, the best restored, sword you heve ever restoration.
This is a cool peice because no a lot of Norse people had swords, they mostly had axes because they were from small villages, even if this isn't a antique, it's still amazing.
Where did you get a sword in such great sharp? If it was real, as in from the viking age, I wouldn't do high gloss finish. From a blacksmith view it isn't old or at least significantly old
So shiny! 🤩🤩
I can say... BEST of the BEST.
That was not just a Viking's sword. That was a Nail.
Behtreen sakoon milta hai apki video's dekh kar
