I am honored to make this amazing little OOAK ball-jointed doll based on the 3D printing file first designed by @Dollightful and then modified by @Moonlight Jewel via Blue Pixie Art!
I’ve never made a BJD. I own MANY but I have never dared to customize or paint my own. So this is a challenge on several levels. This is also my first 3D printed doll. Sure, I’ve made lots of doll parts, but I’ve never printed an entire doll. Yikes!
There’s no character he’s based on. I started with one idea and kinda morphed into another. However, I LOVE him! o He’s so precious, I can’t even believe it. Just wait for the ending!

My vet said that my cat that has mahogany brown in it it's rare because it's a white tiger with a tabby tabbies usually have gray but no I have two cats I don't need a third one

Gosh, I can't believe how beautiful Elias came out! The airbrushing really makes it look professional, and I can't believe how good you are at making eyes. Wow!! And his tiny little blouse and waistcoat?? And Tailcoat?? Ahhhhh it's all so cute!!!
I'm glad MJ/Blue Pixie Art created a larger remix to work with, because it looks much more managable, honestly lol. Also, how fun that we both have partners who know how to digitally model and 3D print! It's such an asset for doll customizing.

But yeah, I can’t imagine making a tailcoat that small. 😳 However, I kinda want to print your original doll and do a 1 day doll project. I think that would be a fun challenge!
My wife literally learned how to model so she could be a part of my doll making stuff. She’s gotten so good at it since then. I’m a lucky girl! I’m sure you feel that way too - a supportive partner who does free work. Haha! Having a 3D printer has totally changed the way I think about customizing. I love it!

Seriously, I wish I could have shown you the 4,328 times that I ripped the seams in just the tailcoat. 😭 I am definitely not a pro. 😅

I’ll tell my wife about your compliment. We have so much fun collaborating together. Although, oftentimes I tell her what I want. She makes it. Then I tell her why I dislike it. Then we go through like 10 iterations before we finally have the design. It’s truly a collaboration and could only be done with people who are married and can’t quit. Lol!

I had rabbits for awhile and couldn’t remember if they had beans. You’ll notice that I did make the bottoms of his hands and feet darker though! 😅

He's so adorable. I feel like he's kind of a time traveler because of how you were first going Victorian (Dickens), then Regency. He looks kind of surprised and overwhelmed, as even the bravest bunnies will when they don't quite know when their time machine dropped them off.
Oooooh! I like that background story for him! He seems a little out of place but tries to fit in real well. 🥰

Would love to see a budget challenge between all of the doll customizers, and a found and recycled materials challenge where that's all you're allowed to use! I think it would be really interesting. And NO 3D printing in those challenges. I love the things that all of you make out of 3D resin but it's out of reach for many people. Another idea would be a dollar store challenge. Using only a dollar store doll as the base. My first customization that I am working on has been made out of a dollar store doll and it has been challenging but very rewarding. I have had to articulate her and reroot and so much more but it's been beneficial to me as an artist! Keep up the good work! Love to see your pieces!

Even though I personally don`t really like pullips and similar looking dolls, I got hooked on your videos! Your work is gorgeous and creative and your videos are incredibely comfortable to watch!
