I always enjoy watching your channel and can't believe you were filming a few minutes from my house. I've seen lots of lads magnet fishing along the Colne river from the Castle Park to the Hythe. Always see them picking out the junk people throw away sadly. Given the town's history you would like to think there is an amazing find waiting to be found! Lunch at the Siege House would have been nice (not cheap). Sharing the unsuccessful trips is equally as entertaining as it proves not every time out is perfect. Thanks for sharing the exploring.

No we just found a load of old rubbish but did remove some of it so not a completely wasted day.. would love to search the Thames but sadly they are not allowing new licences atm.. hopefully in the future.. sorry for late reply, we mush have missed this one. Thanks for watching đđ

We tried a bit of magnet fishing last year with niece and nephew.. didn't find much more than scraps but was pretty good fun. We then tried another area and pulled out a set of digital scales and a mobile phone... yea, they can just stay right there lol.
We did all have fun at least even if we did leave a little disappointed.. I'm sure we'll give it ago again in the future.. Thanks for watching đđ
Hi guys, its interesting to watch Magnet fishing as you never know what you may find... I bought a 400kg one last year but aside from lifting a few manhole lids and attaching it to roof girders to climb up đđ ...i've not yet used it to go magnet fishing lol...I may give it a try soon, keep going with it guys I reckon you'll probably find something cool in the near future...and Stu I reckon you WILL find a gun soon đđđ - Martin / @DE-eVOLVED

I see this video was done 10 days ago but you where using a single sided magnet that was designed for straight drop dredging. A double sided or 360 magnet was suitable for the height and distance to the river you are throwing into. Better results with the double sided as when you drag your magnet it actually skims the bottom of a river flat than the signle sided skims on its edge. You can only pickup gold if it gets caught between an item being gold is non- magnetic metal. All together a great video and was nice to see you having fun at your first try.

I cycle along the Colne every week. Apparently it used to get dredged but no longer. Budget cuts, I guess. Iâd love to magnet fish but I donât have a car to take the haul down the tip
I would say they haven't dredged the river for quite some time.. I'm almost glad our magic was useless as like you say the trip to the tip would be a pain! đ
I think both of you have great chemistry and I do like your videos. I am not a great fan of magnet fishing tbh prefer the usual videos.

Now and again we like to try something new just to fill the gap between our usual historical type videos which can often take longer to edit than we'd like so we put this little one out there to prevent us having to miss a week which we don't like doing.. Hopefully we'll have something great for you to enjoy next Sunday as we've been working hard to put it together but it just wasn't quite ready for this week.. Thanks for watching anyway đđ
Quite high from the water I have to say , make sure you donât get a pipe when you bring it up other wise you will have to go in and get it lol
