Witnessed that the Decepticons were harming and killing the humans, died to Megatron by backstab and he also killed Sam, the Fallen literally tried to end the world with the harvester, was betrayed by Sentinel who then brought an army and killed quite a huge amount of people, betrayed by the humans after saving them from extinction 3x and saw what they did to his friend's severed head. Who wouldn't go ape shit after all that?
If you look at every movie he increasingly gets angrier and angrier at his foes understandable. This is called character development and makes him relatable.
One problem the movies had with the Decepticons was that they were reduced to "horde of generic mooks". The original cartoons and comics gave them individual characters and motivations as antagonists, but here there are just too many of them that all look the same and get killed too easily.

I never understood this series obsession with small arms being credible threats to the Cybertronians. I get dedicated anti armor weapons, but we see stuff like 40mm grenades, 5.56, and even 9mm pistols significantly hurt and overwhelm them or even play a major part in killing them.
It`s to glorify the military pretty much. At least it`s better than just making the military useless again. We have seen that done to death in just about every single Alien invasion movie.
After defeating Scorponok on the first movie, the military squad led by Lennox took the former's tail sample and realized the armor of Transformers are easily melted by "heat sabot". That research become important intel for the future combat as they already have 40mm heat sabot grenade on disposal during first movie and those compound also equipped as rifle rounds after establishment of NEST during second move. Prior to that, it was not easy to defeat Deception members. The Army's base in Qatar completely destroyed by Blackout and they needed AC-130 to defeat Scorponok.

One of the only things I like of Bay’s movies is how they made the military, it was a clever force in the battlefield for the autobots and it helped to take down multiple powerful decepticons and in some scenes they took down alones a strong deception
Nah the military took up way too much screen time during the fights; this is supposed to be about giant robots fighting other giant robots not fucking humans running about and shooting shit.

I feel like bayverse had some of the best integration of human characters into the plot, but the drama and bloated screentime definitely takes away from that Given that the transformers turn the whole earth into their warzone, it makes sense that theyd interact with governments, and I actually enjoy that two way culture shock more than Sam or whoever's side plots a lot of the time. Seeing them work together is also fun, as is any human and nonhuman force doing so imo.
Even if he's underrated, I thought Skorponok always made the coolest noises in the franchise for some reason. He was also cool as a scorpion transformer.

If you look at every movie he increasingly gets angrier and angrier at his foes understandable. This is called character development and makes him relatable.
One problem the movies had with the Decepticons was that they were reduced to "horde of generic mooks". The original cartoons and comics gave them individual characters and motivations as antagonists, but here there are just too many of them that all look the same and get killed too easily.

I never understood this series obsession with small arms being credible threats to the Cybertronians. I get dedicated anti armor weapons, but we see stuff like 40mm grenades, 5.56, and even 9mm pistols significantly hurt and overwhelm them or even play a major part in killing them.
It`s to glorify the military pretty much. At least it`s better than just making the military useless again. We have seen that done to death in just about every single Alien invasion movie.

After defeating Scorponok on the first movie, the military squad led by Lennox took the former's tail sample and realized the armor of Transformers are easily melted by "heat sabot". That research become important intel for the future combat as they already have 40mm heat sabot grenade on disposal during first movie and those compound also equipped as rifle rounds after establishment of NEST during second move.
Prior to that, it was not easy to defeat Deception members. The Army's base in Qatar completely destroyed by Blackout and they needed AC-130 to defeat Scorponok.

One of the only things I like of Bay’s movies is how they made the military, it was a clever force in the battlefield for the autobots and it helped to take down multiple powerful decepticons and in some scenes they took down alones a strong deception
Nah the military took up way too much screen time during the fights; this is supposed to be about giant robots fighting other giant robots not fucking humans running about and shooting shit.
Yeah but Bay has such a military boner that it left not actual action or screen time for the autobots

@@zakai-kaz nah that’s just an issue with all the humans in this series, the military thing did work but movies as a whole focused too much on the humans rather than the bots, the military having so many scenes wasn’t that much of a problem to me, but rather how they treated these scenes, it would have been better if they had taken more of a support role to the auto bots, sharing that time instead of being the focus
I feel like bayverse had some of the best integration of human characters into the plot, but the drama and bloated screentime definitely takes away from that
Given that the transformers turn the whole earth into their warzone, it makes sense that theyd interact with governments, and I actually enjoy that two way culture shock more than Sam or whoever's side plots a lot of the time. Seeing them work together is also fun, as is any human and nonhuman force doing so imo.
