- This is the actual music video for the track 'C'mon Lets Go' by Girlschool. Not many people knew this music video even existed, it seems to have only aired on MTV2, it's very rare. And no this is not live, it's the actual promotional video. This is one of those extreme rarities that was locked and hidden away. I remastered the audio on this from the Japanese pressing CD for 'Hit And Run' (VICP-2089). I believe this came out excellent. All thanks for the original video itself goes to my good friend Ralphy The Rocker, who provided me with a high quality MPEG-2 source for this rare gem! I'm only responsible for the audio restoration and cleaning up the video a bit.

Denise Dufort is so great behind the drums, she plays drums, not just bangs it.Saw this girls live in Stocholm 1982.
Just before Girlschool and Motorhead did the "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" EP together, Philthy Animal Taylor broke his foot. Denise Dufort ended up playing all the drums, including Motorhead's cover of "Emergency".

+SabuPtolemy yeah my friend they used to tour. alot with !motorhead in the early 80s I think motorhead took them under therneings .but as u know they toured with many rock bands back them .but I would give Lemmy n motorhead the pat on the back to yrpw them into as we see a great female rock band I loved them growing up .

Their biggest blunder was in signing with a big American record company... who immediately tried to remake their image and turn them into cutesy little pussycats. It's really a shame... because as this video shows, Girlschool was utterly kickass in their very eary days.

This was the video that got me into Girlschool when it first came out and I saw it on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert in 1981! I went out and bought Hit and Run and Demolition after! Been a fan ever since!
That's nice, except for the fact that Girlschool never appeared on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, either live or on a video clip.
What got me into Girlschool was the game "Brütal Legends" helluva great game

I saw Girl school back in 86 with The scorpions and Iron Maiden. It was the best concert that summer.
I was fortunate to see them live with Nazareth in Beograd, Serbia back in mid 80's

Girlschool will always be one of my fav metal bands ever, alongside Death, Sepultura, Kreator, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary and Slayer.
Kind of odd there among all these more extreme bands, but I get ya. Seriously one of the best of the new wave british metal bands (and god so freaking hot!)

One of the very best of the NWOBHM bands and sadly, they didn't get anywhere near the recognition that they deserved here in the USA. Their first two albums are absolutely killer... easily on par with anything that was being produced back at that time.

My first concert in 1981: Girlschool supporting RUSH on the 'Exit..stage left' tour in Holland. This was the opening tune! Goosebumbs!
I wish I had heard of Girlschool sooner. I have been a big fan of Chicks That Rock since Suzi Quatro and The Runaways first lit up my adolescent fantasies.
These chicks were the second loudest concert I have ever seen and Ive seen a bunch from early 80s-present.

Hey thanks for this..Ive been a fan since 1980! I was in a group back then who had the great privledge of meeting these girls at a record meet and greet at tower records Seattle..we used to cover RACE W THE DEVIL, &YOU GOT ME. Kelly Johnson and Denise M. Were just so cool and nice we ended up hanging out and going to a bar and got hammered! Lovely nice girls lit was awesome sharing road stories..True story. Then in 1984 we were touring Europe and had a gig in uk, so we called Kelly and invited them to our show.best times ever.now uk is shithole..I was devastated when I heard Kelly Johnson died of spinal cancer in 2007..as a guitar player she was just amazing,the sound she could get out of her les Paul was awesome..and NO PEDALS..just her Marshall and her volume knobs..the way it was meant to be..pure hard hard..do you have access to YOU GOT ME live w Kelly was in the group? Thanks so much for this..it brought back so many great memories!
