I love this stuff. Putting in the sweat equity and seeing the results. Almost as addictive as the hunting. Plots,Tsi,travel corridors, Fruit tree planting. In my 50 s now. Enjoy it as much as the hunting now. Just wish i could work like i did in my earlier years. Lol keep videos coming. And keep speaking the truth. No short cuts in life.

Absolutely agree. I just turned 40 last month and I still try my best everyday to take no short cuts. Appreciate the comment

Agreed. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, it's better to just do a 1/4 acre correctly than 2 acres without needed lime and fertilizer just because seed is cheaper. Ask any farmer.

been working on plots for 10 years. Any year i took a short cut or couldn't do something i wanted, my food plot suffered. Plain and simple. If you don't put in the effort, the outcome suffers.
    cheers

Absolutely agree. I think of it as a bank account. If you don’t put anything into the bank “the soil” you can’t get anything out of it.

Hey man enjoying your channel. Quick question about Egyptian wheat. I planted first week of june and followed instructions to the letter but about half of the areas I need screening in my food plot are heavy weeds and not very thick Egyptian wheat. I am considering either tilling then waiting for weeds to come up and then glyphosate then plan or or just spray with glyphosate and replant now. What would you do including any other options to salvage failed egyptican wheat screening. NOTE: I am in WNY area with pretty good soil ph 6+ for this area. Using Domain Incognito which I learned about a couple years ago from your channel. Thoughts?

That only thing you could use “that I know of” would be 24D to control broadleafs in the EW. EW is considered a grass so it would be ok to use. I started using simozone as a pre emergent on my EW so help with less weeds.
Usually you’ll have some weeds but the EW will take over but if there’s to many it will definitely stunt its growth. At this point it’s getting pretty late in the season to Plant it for enough growth for the season

@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors Ok so your a confident 24d will not kill or hurt live EW?

What's on the edge of your food plot that you show in this video, buckwheat or some type of Domain product?

I see that Domain is Marketing a Liquid Lime that raises PH called Elbow Grease. Have you spoke with Mike on this particular product?

If you do and get some detail info that maybe a nominal consumer won’t, could you share it. I’m not sold on the liquid myself but would still like to be educated on the product.

@@perrybowers344 will do plan on talking soon. I’m for it but I just don’t think this stuff should be a complete replacement. I think it can be added in as part of the process
