When cutting the X in the wallpaper, make sure you make a big fold crease across the paper and cut deeply into the other paper on the wall........ Perfect 👍

Tinning copper wires with aluminum? Considering it is a well known fact that copper and aluminum do not play well together, this is just dumb. The aluminum will create galvanic corrosion very quickly.

When you cut the wallpaper with an x you cut the wallpaper above the outlet. All you needed to do was remove the cover cut the a little smaller and put the cover back.
That obviously seems to difficult for this person, even though it’s faster, easier and the correct way of doing it.

A solder iron is made for that purpose! How often do you see three conductors perfectly aligned like that? Talk about taking an easy job and making it hard. You can tell he knows nothing about electrolysis!
I'm not saying this guy isn't a complete fecking idiot but I don't think he was doing what you think he was doing, he was just covering them in aluminum for whatever purpose.
Показывают вначале, как плавят аллюминиевую банку, а потом окунают медные скрученные провода в расплавленный металл. Если это будет алюминий, а не олово, то образуется гальваническая пара и со временем будут проблемы! Уж лучше просто скрутки оставить!
По второму видео, проще и лучше снять крышку розетки и поклеить обои, а потом вернуть крышку на место!

Резать обои на обоях оставляя порез так где он не нужен вообще восторг (корпус выключателя наверное по той же логике сажали на клей)
Посадка выключателя на клей не такая и глупая идея как кажется на первый взгляд. Как то раз пришлось менять выключатель на съёмной квартире, оказалось что коробка под него внутри железная, когти самого выключателя за неё совсем не держались, и дабы не потратить ещё пол дня на выковыриварие этой коробки, и замену её пластиковой, я просто залил все горячим клеем и утопил в нем выключатель. Держится так, как будто выключатель и стена - одно целое)

@@orthodox-chanel можно было вырезать из консервной банки полосу и вставить по периметру коробки. А тот, кто следующий будет менять розетку, вспомнит вас недобрым словом.
Пайка меди алюминием невозможна, так как это разные металлы и прилипать вот так просто к друг другу не будут. Если их скрутить, то через некоторое время скрутка окислится и при эксплуатации будет греться. В конечном итоге будет обрыв

Better way to do wallpaper around an outlet/switch would be to just remove the faceplate.
Exactly. Doing it like that is so risky, you can tell on the bottom left that he put in the diagonal a bit too long and there are open seams around the whole outlet
If not you'll get a beautiful X cut on the paper upside the outlet
Mixing Aluminum and Copper in electrical work is a recipe for an electrical FIRE! God help anyone that actually does this, and the next person who buys that house if it has not burned to the ground before then.

Life hack: Instead of melting a soda can with a blow torch - you know, cuz everyone has one of those - use *electrical tape.* Found at your local hardware store. It's safer, faster, and cheaper than molten aluminum. Crazy I know.

Pro tip: Aluminium does not fuse to copper without a special brazing flux. Also, the can paint and membrane would not come off as slag and leave clean Aluminium behind, rather, Aluminium cans are not very pure Aluminium.

Don't do the wallpaper that way. End's up there's an x above socket where the person sliced it. Pinch the corners. Then push scissors through. Then cut corner to corner. Then trim with the blade.

Совет с проводами просто пиздатый, если хотите спалить дом. Судя по видео и легкости плавления, то банки из алюминия. У алюминия и меди разное сопровождение току. Если проще, то попробуйте состыковать толстую и тонкую трубу, а потом по большей пустите хороший напор воды и гляньте что будет с тонкой.

Не делайте так. Это не правильно. 1. Алюминевую банку не расплавить горелкой и даже если это получится им нельзя обрабатывать медные провода, так как при взаимодействии медь окисляется.
2. Разетку лучше открутить и после выпезать обои , а потом ее прикрутить. Так обои со всех сторон будут заходить под разетку. И будет выглядить более окуратно

First hack, spend more by using a torch to burn the toxic off of a can before finally melting it to cover up outlets, rather than buy some soldering iron and have a reuseable one.

I always take off the outlet, put wallpaper on the wall, cut a little hole and screw on the outlet again.
No one solders wires anymore and I would not trust using the aluminum of a can for that either. Sure it will work but any job that REQUIRES you to solder the connections are going to want you to us a UL listed soldering. It is so niche it's ridiculous nowadays. For the wall paper around the devices. Take the cover off the devices and then make the cut so that the wall paper is right up on the edges of the hole that the devices reside in. Then put the cover on. The whole thing will look neater.

Take the outlet cover off, cut the inside hole, put the cover back on. Now the cut lines don't show.
