I just got her audiobook :)
She sounds tired
Singing voice: impeccable
Speaking voice: simply melt worthy
Great interview, I really like his style of interviewing.
What a great Interview! Mariah was telling it all in a "mature" way
I think this is one of the most comprehensive and genuine interviews I have seen of hers
I remember watching Charlie Rose on PBS channel, in my younger years. I always loved his interviews.
Yeah, this man seems very cool and mature, imma have to check out more of his work.
@@Jo3Mama.Yeah he was last on CBS this morning until he became a victim of the "me too" movement
@@Des_Zeea victim lol 😂
I loved this interview! ❤
I saw this when it was on tv the first time, by just happening to catch it. She is still being sooooo careful here, and basically says so.
It wouldve been Soo hard wanting to break free from ur ex husband and releasing an album whilst he's still head of ur label (technically her boss)
She's so technical and very hands-on.
Great interview!! She's very relaxes, confident and the voice is incredible.
💝
13:58 Shoutout to you, Maureen.
I remember thinking of Mariah Carey in the early 1990s as untouchable, that her responses were slick and to the point. She had this aura around her of impressiveness but untouchable. Knowing what we know now, it was Sony that forced this.
There is this radio interview from mid 1990 (on CZcams) where she actually is pretty candid and joking around, but it seems like that had to be expunged from her personality. It’s sad.
Thank You for sharing.
A maior de todas ❤

Oh my... Her husky voice 💗💗💗💗the same voice that can give me orgasms when singing..
tf is wrong with u?
I finally understand, it was really tommy who set her high above, if she would've got that warner studios, and had her self be a bold star on her career by wearing revealing clothes during the 90s, she wouldn't have been remembered today. Just sayin
that's bs. talent like that was always going to leave a legacy
Yup! He knew what he was doing…
You know like but anyway umm she's all over the place 🫣😂
For a young 30 year old (back in 1999 )who grew up in complete disfunction, surrounded by violence and trauma, she did a great job expressing herself while talking to a much older, seasoned interviewer. I’m sure now at 55 years old, she has gotten used to this type of thing ( maybe) ❤
