@@davidczahor The way you worded your two statements doesn't quite make sense. Hardly anyone lived in Alaska at the time of the sale. Most People were native tribes, or fur trappers. It wasn't until the Alaskan Gold Rush in 1897 that people began to readily move there. In Russia's eyes, they were hurting for cash and at the time no one knew what kind of resources Alaska had. In the case of Hawai'i, it was technically a hostile take over. The Kingdom of Hawai'i was its own sovereign nation ruled by Queen Liliuokalani. Throughout the late 19th century American Sugar Farmers moved to Hawai'i and the short story is they overthrew the government with the help of United States marines who threatened violence. The Queen didn't want to see her people killed so she gave in.

For all the jokes made about it, France's 1940 fall to the Nazis was one of the greatest catastrophes in modern history, as it meant Hitler and his buddy Mussolini could run wild all over Europe, and the Holocaust would be at least 3x larger. Even as an American it's painful to see footage or pictures of it, knowing what it meant.

After D-Day Bombing Of Hiroshima Came
Yeah, but the way I designed those countries meant they could only do one thing at once. I couldn't figure out how to draw America fighting the Germans and the Japanese at the same time. So I decided it'd be more dramatic if it defeated Japan right away and then fought the Germans.
Yes Hiroshima And Nagasaki Got Nuked At 1945 And D-Day happened at 1944.
