  • The Porcinis are still out there despite the season coming to an end. It's been a while, but we've found some nice wood blewits which are my all time favourite.
    The big porcini in this video is by far the most fresh and big we've found so far. We've certainly found bigger ones, but definitely not as fresh.
    Hope you enjoy this video.

    Big chunky mushrooms just make me feel all funny inside. Those are amazing and inspirational finds.
    Has been wet and cold here in Melbourne. Might try to head out tomorrow while the kids are at school. 🤞🤞
    Thanks for sharing!

    Nice video thanks! Why don’t you ever cut your mushrooms? And I take it that most are not edible. Do you go back and pick them up to eat them. You sure know your mushrooms

      Thanks for watching our video. We don't cut them because it seems like a waste of the big chunk at the bottom. But mainly because it's more enjoyable to hear crunch when we pull them from the ground.

    Hello there. Love your videos. Can you share the tips and where tp find them in Adelaide hills? Is there is any forage group who goes out hunting that beginners could join? I'd love to learn, too. Thank you.

    • @FruitsOfLife001
      @FruitsOfLife001  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Thank you so much for watching our videos. There are a few Face Book groups that sometimes have 'workshops' where they teach about mushrooms and foraging. I suggest joining Mushroom Foragers of SA and Australian Wild Mushroom Hunters.

      @@92huylang no worries. I have learnt heaps from those groups. You might sometimes see my posts when the season starts again. Lol
