    The USSR covered nearly 1/6th of the Earth's Land Area Surface. The size of the USSR was so big that even the combined land area of the United States and Canada could fit into it and there was still 1000 square miles of space still left over. But after the split of the USSR the combined land area of the United States and Canada became larger than the land area of Russia. That is huge when you think that it would still take the combined land area of Canada and the United States to be larger than the land area of Russia.

    I thought this was going to be a big setup and at the end someone was going to come in with Canada. Then it would cover most of Russia leaving him confused and angry. Great skit though.

    SCTV was a great show and as a kid, it was even greater getting to stay up late on weekends to watch. Awesome show with awesome characters. They made so much fun of Russia and Russia's primitive backwards way of life. Russia was so pathetic as a country back then due to communism robbing the people of life itself and keeping them in the stone ages. I felt sorry for the people of Russia but not the communist. I am surprised that the Soviets did not fire missiles at Canada for all those jokes that made the Soviets look really, really, really stupid.

      Actually Canada SCTV didn't do an insult, the Insult was towards the States corparation, you underestimate the Canadians (ONCE AGAIN) we show the true power!

      @spliceoncharlie Před rokem +1

      @@playbookshowme484 Amazing how easily communists can expose themselves and show their ignorance with an uneducated comment. Obviously, you know nothing of SCTV history and the numerous skits poking fun at the backwardness of late 70's early 80's Russia. You must not be aware of the "New Soviet Mini-Cam" skit. Have a nice day

    • @spliceoncharlie
      @spliceoncharlie Před rokem +2

      @@playbookshowme484 Easy to see from your comments that English is not your normal language. ???If you have all the replays??? A little English lesson. Replays are for describing sporting events and reruns describe television shows. So, instead of saying you have replays being loaded, you can say, you have the reruns recorded on some type of media device.
      Using your words, (ONCE AGAIN), the Canadian crew at SCTV is making fun of the backward Soviets and giving the North American audience belly laughter with big jokes about Russia. Do not worry if you are Russian or a communist, it is only television and just a joke. Canadians love making fun of the Soviets. These programs were made during the cold war, and we needed to laugh at the soviets and not have war. Laughing at the enemy is much better than fighting. Have a good day.
